Teddy Talk: Creating, Collecting, Connecting

Hi i am brand new to the site.  I'm looking for a 16" Daekor pot belly bear from about 1978.  My husband bought one for me when we got married.  When I was kid up until I was about 12 I suffered from severe asthma.  Now we are talking about me being brought into the world back in 1953.  My mom had to vacuum and dust my curtain less and carpet less room.  Needless I didn't shave stuffed animals.  About 6 years ago I met a mom who had a smaller extremely loved pot belly bear that had been hers when she was little and now had been passed down to her daughter.  I asked my husband if I could give my bear to the little girl to replace the much loved, unrepairable bear.  He was okay with it.  Mom replaced the bear during the night.  When the little girl woke in the morning she was so excited to see how the angels had fixed her bear and actually had helped him grow bigger.  Now I feel gulilty because my husband had bought it for me.  I am hoping I can find another one to take it's place.
