Teddy Talk: Creating, Collecting, Connecting

Hey everyone,

This is Sadie, she is currently being auctioned to raise funds for the UK-GSR (german shepherd rescue)
All proceeds go directly to the organisation and they really do wonderful work to help rescue and rehome these wonderful dogs.

Sadie is entirely handmade, she is 16 inches tall, firmly stuffed and weighted with steel shot. She is made from luxury faux fur and she is fully lined inside.
She is needle and scissor sculpted and her markings are airbrushed. Her paw pads are hand cast in silicone rubber from a sculpt originally done in clay, they are then edged in cream felt and hand stitched around.
Sadie also comes with a handmade tartan bag to keep her safe.

Hey folks,

This wee labrador is looking for a forever home! He's about 16 inches tall, entirely handsewn from lovely shiny faux fur. He's cotterpin jointed with a wobble joint in his neck, filled with heavyweight stuffing and weighted with steel shot.
Round his neck he wears a handmade collar with a metal name tag that can be engraved with a name of your choosing.

Love Archie! He's just gorgeous.

The easiest way i found was to use the pics you have already put on facebook. Facebook resizes them for you so they're web friendly.
If you go to the picture on facebook, right click it and save it to your desktop, then upload it from your desktop to here. It goes uploads immediately and the quality is fine.

Hey folks,

This little guy is Riley, a recent commission and a copy of a customers dog.

He's about 14/15 inches tall (to top of his head) and is made from faux fur.  Riley has my new design rubber paw pads, they are hand sculpted, moulded and then cast in silicone rubber. They have quite a nice squish to them!
Any feedback is always gratefully received, not been bear making all that long and the learning curve has been steep.

Really appreciate the comments. Rory's wrinkles are airbrushed on yeah, thought if i made actual wrinkles he might lean towards looking too gargoyle like and not cute enough. The real Rory has this brilliant, worried expression on his face so i wanted to emphasize that more than the actual wrinkles.

Hi all,

I'm new to this forum and what a resource it is! If only i'd thought to google bear forums sooner.
