Awww hes fab! He looks like hes going to give you a big hug!
Thats such a lovely bear! you must keep him in a special place!
yaaay I love GUND! They must be pretty hungry after such a long hibernation!
I love turning the pieces inside out! I hate embroidering the nose, so much can go wrong!
I see from your facebook page you are no stranger to crafting things! I look forward to seeing your progress
All questions are welcome here! There are several types of joints you can use, my favorite are the plastic safety joints because they are so easy to use! The cotter pins can be tricky but a happy medium are the nut and bolt joints like these:

For glass eyes I have to use a really long doll needle to get through the thickness of the head. I love my pair of surgical scissors too, they are really sharp and have pointed ends which is great for cutting through fabric and sculpting fur. The weighting i use steel shot its pretty cheap and does the job just fine although one word of warning, if you spill the bag onto a wooden floor you will never recover them all, they bounce everywhere!!
Ooh thats really nice, well done
Sounds like you have had a lovely break! Now, get back to the grindstone! *whip noises*
Cant wait, love international post
I do love to pick up and actually see the bears, but usually you can get charlie/steiff etc so much cheaper online!
