Hmmmm...4.5 months old...way back then, like 32 plus years ago..I did loads of my crafting with our son on my lap...couldn't imagine trying it now...but where there is a will, there is a way. Let the baby be part of your creativity always...Hope this makes sense.

Goodness Daphne...That is tragic news & a great reminder...I have Dell DataSafe for backing up my stuff online...it came with my laptop..I hadn't used it yet...but am in the process now. Thanks for the reminder...hope you are finding some of the stuff you lost ok.

LOL my hubby put them in the mail yesterday...and the weight of the box surprised me...those beavers weigh 2 pounds!!! Oh my goodness I poked a lot of wool!!!

They are firmly felted & took a huge amount of core wool. I didn't have any problem with my hand or wrist, which was surprising, but I did make sure to take a break about every hour & do some stretching exercises.

One of my brothers asked me to make him a needle felted Mama & Baby Beaver. When he said he wanted them to be "life size" I almost fell off my chair..lol.. So...a lot of wool & 2 weeks of poking...I finally got them done. What a challenge!!!!!!
