thank you. I have taken the plunge and set up blog and facebook page. Have already done some local fairs and sold to family - have a feeling family DON'T want any more teddies.
I can give you a little help, done one table here in UK and several om SA.
I took along all my teddies, had about 23 displayed about 10 - 15 of them. The others i put under my table and brought them out as i sold a few.
I dont have a debit card machine thingy either but took along float of about 40 pounds which was more than enough.
Decorating, i take along boxes of different sizes and place them on the table, then the teddies stand out and people can see them.
Carrier bags, i saw some brown or white paper ones at the hobby shop, but pretty expensive. Am looking fot basic brown ones and then was going to paste my logo onto them.
I dont have big banner with my name on, but have printed flyers and some business cards with my details.
Good luck
Below are some examples of my knitted bears, I have noticed that there are only a few teddy bear artist that knit/crochet there teddies and was wondering if my teddies would be good enough to sell. Have sold a few to family and friends but am interested in making some money from my hobby (which I am sure we all are).
Any comments, advice would be most welcome!!
