It's been a looong while since I've been on Teddy Talk......or anything regarding bears really, as I've been away from bear making the past year or more. Been a lot going on in my life, both positive and negative, during that time. He's currently on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi … RK:MESE:IT We would love to have you visit!

THanks so much Joanne! The red one is now heading off to Canada. Her name is now Miss Ruby Red, as chosen by her new bear mom.....I love it!
Brand new from ThimbleBeary Lane Collectibles by ThimbleBeary Originals are "Peach" and "Red", two fun and floppy anime bears in yummy colors! Peach has found a new mom (who decided to keep the name Peach......I hadn't named these bears, but thought to let the new owner do that). Red thought she had a home, but that sale fell through, so she is still available today. Please visit her at: http://www.thimblebearyoriginals.com/Available3.html

Kringle is a Limited Edition of 3 bears. With the Limited Editions, I have moved into a slightly different direction with my work, by offering Limited Editions of special bear designs, which reflect an endearing simplicity along with character of expression more common to my original works. These bears will be offered under the name ThimbleBeary Lane Collectibles, from the ThimbleBeary Originals Studio.
Kringle is made from short honey tan mohair and created from an Anime design. Kringle measures 6 1/4 inches tall and has brown blown-glass German doll eyes with Ultrasuede eyelids. His legs are created from red pillow ticking fabric, and his feet/boots are green mohair, as is his hat. I have sewn a green vintage jingle bell to the hat, and the hat is also sewn to his head. Kringle's nose is stitched from perle cotton and lightly varnished.

Thanks so much everyone!!  I have added the full story (above) that I had submitted along with the photos to the URSA Awards Competition. The story is what I was thinking of the entire time I worked on this.....it was fun! I'm so glad those who see it are also getting a smile or a chuckle out of it....a perfect ending to the story!
Hi Everyone! I recently created this vignette of three miniature bears (3 1/4 inches each), working on getting their little blue car to the bear show just up the road. Poor bear in back, he has to push them up a hill! But it's all worth it to get to the bear show!
Here is the little story that I submitted to Bears & Buds for the URSA Awards competition. This what I was thinking the entire time I worked on this piece (also gives a description of the materials I used):
Three little bears are almost to the Bear Show! They were driving along, when suddenly, their little car could not get up the hill. What to do? Push, of course! And with one to steer and one to give instructions! Poor little bear in back is working hard, but he'll get the job done! This vignette was created with three miniature bears, all from imported faux fur, blown-glass doll eyes with Ultrasuede eyelids, and sculpted epoxy clay noses. Their arms are wired for posing, the foot pads are Ultrasuede, and they are shaded with oils. The bears and the car are removable from the scene. The scene itself was also handmade by the artist and created from a variety of miniature railroad and sculpting supplies applied to a wooden base.
