Hi,
This is Wally, my first time using a sewing machine. I am a hand sewer, usually. I didn't draw my pattern for a machine to leave a 1/4" seam allowance, but I have re drawn it that way. How much fur do I actually trim away so my fur doesn't get caught in the seams? I am ready to cut out Wallys sister and her fur is 1/2" long synthetic.
Many thanks for the advice in advance!
Hugs,
Jeannie B
Prim and pretty! My favorite reindeer is Gale
Very pretty bear...and a big girl at 21" I have used this fur on a couple of bears and a bunny. It sculpts like a dream
Ruby has a perfect combination of long and short fur. Adorable
How exciting! Beautiful start for the museum piece. Keep us posted when you know more?
Gorgeous eyes! Wouldn't it be neat if she had a baby panda!
The folding wings are unique. Holly is quite a character. Very cute
Saw Mary Elly on Bearpile....who could forget her sweet expression! Love her eyelashes and colors

Dear Santa,
Charity would be nice under my tree!! Hint, hint
Dear Tammy,
Gorgeous bear for getting into the Christmas spirit! Her hat is lovely, I would wear it myself if it was my size
Michelle, Becky, Tammy, thank you I love black bears too! I so admire it when I see good pictures of the dark bears. Finding it hard to do myself
I haven't posted in a long time, but I see there are so many amazing creations here! Wow I wanted to share one of three bears I am making for a friends daughters. Her coat looks much better as a teddy bear, I think They are 5 way jointed, black glass eyes, taxidermy nose (my latest nose experiment) and moderately weighted.
Think we found him.....Koala babies first teddy on E Bay Thank you so much for helping!!
Thank you, Ellen. Working on finding pics now. We will check out E Bay
"Teddy" is lost. Child is heart broken. "Teddy" looked like a Ganz babies first teddy to me. He is honey/gold color with matching ribbon. Probably four years old. He has a Koala tag. The foot says "babies first teddy". Does anyone recognize the tag or description? His mom and I work together. Her son/owner of "Teddy" has had seizures and Teddy is always by his side Any suggestions are welcome! Thank you!!
Great looking bear! I had to look twice Wish Lewis was under my tree this year!!
He's very cute and his fur looks so soft I remember feeling the same as you with my first bear. Hope you will make more??
He's adorable! Love his fur color
No one can resist that sweet little face!! Love her!
Oh my goodness, Tammy. They are sooo sweet together! Lucky person that wins that lottery!
I'm looking at Alex, my first Beckoning Bear and he is just as splendid today as the day he arrived at my house

Very nice panda bear! Especially that he's only your 5th or 6th! I'm sure he was able to get a smile from his new mom
Know what you mean about the nose....I have just started to wax my nose thread  ...that helps a lot!
Look forward to seeing your 6th or 7th one!
