Hi everyone,
I have decided to do a Facebook Giveaway to help promote my Logi Bears page on Facebook. I am asking people to please like and share my page. Once The page reaches 500 likes a name will be drawn at random and the lucky person will receive a Logi Bear handcrafted by me!
If you would like to participate or even just fancy a wee look at my bears it is on www.facebook.com/craftsbylogibears.
Good luck!
Many thanks,

Hi,
I use a lot of vintage fur and only ever hand sew. I am not sure how well it would take to being machined. I use either quilting or upholstery thread as you need a strong thread.
What kind of fur is it that you have?

Hey Renee,
Have you tried using your gel pen with a blunt pencil held together side by side with an elastic band? It may sound a bit strange but as long as the pencil is blunt it should just follow the edge of the pattern whilst the pen will draw out the enlarged version giving you that seam allowance.

Well that's not a bad problem to have! Good luck with the commissions and am sure November will be good for you!

Hi,
I do a couple of fairs per year and I use Vistaprint for business cards - they usually have good promotions on. Everyone has a bear tale to tell and people will stop for a chat - they may not buy but they'll remember you & they'll have your card to contact you when they do want to buy. As Michelle says a lot of it is PR!!
I don't use a card machine as I don't think I do enough fairs to justify it. I will take cheques as well as cash.
When it comes to prices, I have the bears priced with a 10% leeway, if you can offer a discount to a customer who is swithering, it may well make the sale but if you also offer this to returning customers it lets them know that you appreciate them.
Good luck and remember, relax & enjoy it!
