I am publishing a book for special needs children It is a picture book that promotes langauge. I used a Russ bear in the sampe pages. The publisher loved it but Russ will not give permission to use the bear. I paid 200.00 for a prototype bear from a company called creature comforts. The bear was horrible. The fabric was cheap and the bear had a horrible face. This book is going to be published as a series. I have spent hours online trying to figure out how to have a bear manufactored. I happened onto this website and am hoping that someone has an original, adorable bear for sale to be the character of a book that is ready to be published. I photograph the bear then facial expression is added digitally. Any ideas?? The publisher is waiting!
