Wally’s story:
“Wally is a fun loving little bear who loves helping out in the garden. Especially if vegetables are grown there. His large nose helps sniff out when everything is ready for harvesting.
He likes to play hide and seek with the sparrows in the hedgerows.
If any flower heads have fallen from their stems, he likes to wear them as a hat.
His favourite food is peas, especially if they are from a pod fresh from the garden.”
He’s one of a kind and looking for his forever home...

Drumroll please ?...
Introducing Merry!
He's one of a kind and would love to find his forever home in time for Christmas, especially as he is a Christmas Elf.
He loves nothing more that helping to decorate trees and spreading some Yuletide cheer.
Apart from the hot summer months, he'll more likely be wearing his festive red hat.
He loves a tipple of mulled cider and he adores mince pies.
P.s. he's much more sparkly in real life, I couldn't quite capture it in the photos.
You can adopt him here:

Thank you Becky.
His fur was much greener than I thought it would be when I bought it. But it's so thick and fluffy and feels beautiful.

Please meet Elfreda.
She's one of a kind and looking for her forever home over at my website.
Take a look at her adoption page for full details.
I've looked into this before and found this document, it may help, but see what Trading Standards say.
I think price point makes a difference too. A collectors bear at £80 or more obviously wouldn't be something aimed at children.
http://www.conformance.co.uk/directives … EN_TXT.pdf
"List of products that, in particular, are not considered as toys within the meaning of this Directive (as referred to in Article 2(1))
1. Decorative objects for festivities and celebrations
2. Products for collectors, provided that the product or its packaging bears a visible and legible indication that it is intended for collectors of 14 years of age and above. Examples of this category are:
(a) detailed and faithful scale models;
(b) kits for the assembly of detailed scale models;
(c) folk dolls and decorative dolls and other similar articles;
(d) historical replicas of toys; and
(e) reproductions of real firearms"
Personally, I would place collectors bears with folk dolls or similar articles.
I have 'not suitable for anyone under 14' on the sewn in tag, on the hang tag and on the info booklets. I make sure I mention it on the website and if I mention any bears on FB etc. too.
Thank you Becky
He's lovely, well done
Hi everyone,
I wanted to introduce you to my latest commission bear, Telesto (named after one of Saturn's moons).
He is for my friends nephew. I was told that he was really interested in space, two planets in particular; Saturn & Jupiter.
So, I tried to get a fur in colours that suited both planets, and I also needle felted Jupiter's spot on Telesto's tummy.
His pendant glows in the dark too
You can see his full work in progress photos here.
I hope you like him
Introducing my latest creation, Ælfweard.
Ælfweard's name comes from the Anglo-Saxon 'Ælf' which means elf & 'weard' which means guardian.

He's one of a kind and available for adoption now at my website.
His full details can be found on his adoption page
I wanted to introduce you all to Kangarillapig.

He's off on his travels today, and will be joining the author on any book signings.
If you'd like to see the work in progress photos, I have done a full blog post on him, which you can read here:

Thank you Peter
Thanks EJ!
The underground would probably be fine, as long as I don't hit it at rush hour. I have everything in four trolley bags, and I can take clothes and everything else I need in a rucksack, so I'm prepared for travelling on public transport
Hope to see you in September
I've just been offered a stand at Hugglets for the first time in September, Woohoo!
I'm excited about doing it, but nervous at the same time as I've never been before.
I've never been as a visitor before either, and it's about 12 years since I last went down to London (I'm not a huge fan of big cities either).
So, I was wondering if anyone had any tips?
Is it easier to go on the train rather than driving down? (I'll be coming from Yorkshire)
Can you recommend anywhere to stay?
If you usually exhibit, how many bears do you usually take with you?
