Wilbur stands about 9 inches tall and is entirely crocheted. To keep him warm I have knitted his vest and matching hat. I also needle felted his little toy bear.
Wilbur is available on Bear Pile: http://www.bearpile.com/item/49494
I also collect dolls and bears. I have antique dolls like e.g. Kestners, but also modern dolls like a BJD in my collection. A doll needs to "speak" to me to make it into my collection. This also applies to my bear collection.
I am also member of doll forums, however these are German forums and most likely of no use to you.
You will probably be able to find groups/forums on the internet.
Hugs,
Marion

I wish everybody a great weekend!
Marion.
I collect bears that "speak" to me. This might be a manufactured or an artist bear. I don't have a preference but most of my bears ended up to be Steiff bears, some old and some newer. It is mostly a face in a bear that attracts me, although I also have to like the feel of the mohair. I do have other critters like dogs in my collection, however mostly bears.
Hugs,
Marion
