There's a new Potbelly Bear, inspired by Earth Day (and all that's natural and green.) His name is WALDEN, and he's holding his wee smiley friend CAPPY close. CAPPY, you may have already guessed, is a really fun guy.
Get it? Fun guy? Fungi?
WALDEN & CAPPY are available as a set on eBay until:
Thursday, April 23rd @ 7pm PST
I really appreciate your interest, and hope you'll pop by his listing for a peek!

This lynx is absolutely spectacular. Wonderful!!
I've just finished three pieces, all themed around a dotty print fabric that really inspired. Click here: { Potbelly Bears | AVAILABLE } for more pictures of Bastian, No.6 (the Potbelly Bear "Old Timer"), and Egg Mouse. And thank you for your interest. :)
benesak, edmondnutmeg, valewoodbears :: THANK YOU SO MUCH! XO
He's silly & sweet, I think! Find him on my website, potbellybears.com

Pijangibears, ivi-na, peterbear, student bearmaker - Thank you all so much for the kind words. They mean the world. Really.
Thanks, sweet friend. I love that you noticed and commented...
To celebrate my 10th year of bear making, I'm returning to eBay, the venue that first exposed me to the best people in the world - bear lovers!
Please visit my newest bear, LUCKY, on the *potbellybears* eBay seller page. He's available now via 3-day auction on eBay, ending Mar 13, 2014 16:50:12 PDT.
Because of the lateness of the seasonal hour for this teddy, I'm offering FREE overnight Priority Mail Express shipping + insurance to all US destinations, and FREE Priority Mail International + insurance to all international ones.
Happy holidays and thanks for peeking at my bear. :)
Publicly follow my newly re-animated blog, and you'll be entered to win a one-of-a-kind Potbelly Bears prototype! I'll pick a winner this Saturday, March 10th. Check the right sidebar of my blog for the "follow" widget. Click here to visit: Potbelly Bears Blog
Thank you all for the kindness! The idea of old-style bears has been brewing inside me forever, but it took me a really long time to get it "just so" and right for public offering. It's always so scary to try something new, especially introducing it for the first time, wondering whether it will be well received. So I really appreciate your feedback and knowing you like his wee face. Thank you!
Potbelly Bears "Old Timer" #1, available now. He's been a long time coming.

I had a hankering to make another pincushion critter so today's new version is Spool Mouse. I had a blast making him; these little guys are just so much fun to create. And what's not to love about a pudgy pulled pin cushion?
Thanks for taking a look.
FRANCES didn't find a home last update so it was back to the studio with her, where she was softened, girly-fied, and unstuffed a bit for a more petite, feminine look. She's got a new lower pricetag, too -- bonus! Such a cute little face, if it's okay to say that about my own bears! I hope she finds her forever home this go-round.
Thanks for looking.
Thank you, Marilyn.
Thanks, Francesca.
Suuuuuuuuuuuuuper cute!!
Here's my newest, FRANCES IN HER BEAR SUIT. She even has a little flannel blankie. More pictures at my website on the AVAILABLE page. Thank you for looking -- and Happy Groundhog Day!
Thank you!! He's en route to his new home as I type.
Awesomesauce on fantastatoast. Seriously. He's incredible.
Thanks for all the sweet comments, bear friends. They're appreciated.
I've been away from bear making for just over a month now, recuperating from some gnarly but not serious injuries (particularly a badly dislocated finger.) But I'm so happy to be back at it with today's new bruin, SILAS. Please visit the AVAILABLE page of my website if you'd like to see more views.
Bobbie, I look very much over 30. I just choose my photos carefully, and of course, Photoshop is my plastic surgeon. LOL Hugs, girlfriend!!
With the holidays approaching fast, I thought I'd bump this very old thread and give it new life. I just made this tart, for a girl's weekend with college friends of almost 30 years -- when did I get old enough to be able to say THAT?? -- and they raved. It's not my recipe so it didn't exactly go to my head, but I was reminded how quick and easy to make, and how incredibly crowd pleasing, this recipe can be.
Hope you also enjoy. And for those in the US who celebrate, happy early Thanksgiving!!
Thanks, Sue Ann.
