For artists and collectors sponsored by Intercal...your mohair supplier and Johnna's Mohair Store
Hey Guys & Gals,
I know that I haven't been on here in awhile, but I am doing the Relay For Life walk (in support of the Canadian Cancer Society) this Friday and I am still a little short of my fundraising goal of $300. The walk takes place from 7:00 pm Friday to 7:00 am Saturday and is a walk to support cancer research and to help those affected by cancer. I will be walking in Kingsville, ON with my team Dade's Kitchen - Baking For A Cure at The Heritage Village & Transportation Museum and was hoping that, if you're able to, you might be able to sponsor me, even if it is a small amount, anything will help and it is VERY good cause. I think that cancer has touched everyone in some way or form, whether you have battled the disease yourself, or have a loved one you have lost because of the horrible disease. With your help we can hopefully get closer to finding a cure. Let's Eradicate Cancer!
If You Are Able To, Please Visit My Relay Webpage at : http://convio.cancer.ca/goto/jernewell
Right Under The Profile Pic, You Will See A Button That Reads, "Support Jeremy!". If You Would Like To Donate, Just Click That Button & Follow The Directions.
Any Help Would Be Hugely Appreciated!
Big Bear Hugs,
Jeremy Newell

OMG Peter,
Did I seriously write Loon? LMAO...I don't know what I was thinking. I take pics of geese all of the time! I guess I was just feeling a little "loony" that day! It had been a long week afterall...LOL
I have now been on vacation to the Jersey Shore with Pat, browsing Texas wildlife with Sue Ann, on the Queen Mary cruise ship in Long Beach with Gail, a tour through Salzburg with Andrea, strolling through York with Ali, looking down at Manning Valley in NSW with Lyn, on the CN tower with Jill & on a walkthrough of Antwerp's Palaces with Peter.
Thanks SOOO Much Everyone! This Has Been GREAT Fun!
Was listening to a local radio Program the other morning and heard this interesting bit of information. Thought I might share it with all of you!
According to a survey, 20 Percent of men who sleep alone, take this to bed with them. Is It?
a. A Teddy Bear
b. Their Cell Phone
c. A Picture Of Their Ex
And The Answer Is :
...
...
...
...
...
...
...a. A Teddy Bear!
Got a little chuckle out of this. 20 % is a significant amount don't you think? I wouldn't have thought it would be that high!

Bear Hugs,
Hello All,
I recently saw a new range of Schulte Mix Material comprised of 70% wool, 20% alpaca,10% mohair listed on eBay. I was wondering if any of you have used this and if it is nice to work with? Also, how soft is it, as I know alot of people think the wool material is too scratchy. It is the 9MM variation.
Thanks In Advance,
Sounds like a fun idea! Sign me up as well please...
Signed up too. Thanks for the opportunity to win one of your gorgeous bears!

She is amazing like all of your other work Tatiana. GREAT job!
I just got my first Charlie Bear as a Christmas present from my sister. She got me Charlie 2010 the PLUMO bear. Charlie is absolutely stunning! Even more detailed up close and in person. By FAR, some of the finest manufactured bears I have ever come across and a new favourite in my teddy collection. I will most likely be adding another Charlie Bear to my collection very soon.
Belle is absolutely gorgeous Clare! I'll be keeping an eye on this auction...
Oh,
I think the little bugger just ran through my backyard Kim! Official sighting in Ontario, Canada!
I have to say that I agree with what Shelli said. You might be better off sending them by messenger pigeon. Quicker & more reliable! What doesn't take 2-3 months to get here, doesn't get here at all...For such a great country, we sure don't have our postal service at the top of it's game. I actually just found out that Australia Post won't even offer insurance on shipments to Canada anymore because it is SOOOOO unreliable.
Good Luck With Whatever You Decide,
Too Many To Count...Artist Bears, Deb Canham, Steiff, Boyds, Gund, Ty, Deans, Merrythought, Ganz Cottage Collectables, etc. Not to mention my Boyds resin figurines. My rather small room is bursting at the seams with teddy bears & their friends.
I usually tend to change the theme about once a month. Right now I am on the Plum Pudding theme!
I just love Steiff, old or new they just have a certain charm to them. I was a bear collector who swore he would never buy a Steiff due to their high prices, they just seemed out of my budget. I believe that I now have over 20 Steiff bears in my collection. I also really like the limited artist designed pieces from Boyds as well as the Lorraine Chien Cottage Collectables line by Ganz...
I was wondering about this as well. I received a email newsletter from TBAF the other day and it listed someone else as the editor. I was hoping that it was just a typo. Mindy has done SOOOO much to make the magazine what it is today, so it will be a REAL shame to see her go. Good luch with your future endeavors Mindy!!!
Does anyone have specific instructions I could follow while dyeing wool fabric with tea? My technique keeps coming out with mixed results.
Thanks!
Jane,
I personally LOVE the pics that you make up....They are always so unique and creative. I think they are awesome and thank you for going out of your way to help make this place the fun place that it is.
Bear Hugs,
Nobody was able to get ahold of her for over a month, but Melissa eventually got through to her. I am glad to hear that she is okay and I hope she comes back soon! Here is the link :

...You can walk into any room in the house, only to find a dozen (or more) sets of teddy bear eyes staring at you from the corner of the room!
And the price tag is just as extravagant as the man himself...A deal at only $1500
For that price, it better be signed by Lagerfeld himself and include an original hand drawn sketch!
Jenny,
If you wanted to make up a banner for the raffle, I would be more than willing to put it up on my blog. I have already posted a little article on my blog to hopefully help promote it...
Jeremy
Hello Christine,
I'd be more than happy to exchange blog links with you. Mine can be found at :
