I've been asked to show some of my earlier work. I used to make a lot of teddy bears in the 90's and then stopped for some reason. Although I still have lots of mohair left somewhere! I used to go under the name "bears by toveb".
This black bear is now owned by my aunt. I had completely forgotten about him when I spotted him on a shelf in her new home. He looks a little dusty...
Next up is Mr Pink, my favourite.
This one is a little more unusual with bent legs and a triangular face. Cardigan knitted by me.
Then there is this one, where I dyed the mohair myself (probably with henna). I think the eyes are a little off, but otherwise his nose is very symmetrical.
Lastly, here is Fluffy. His fur was dyed with turmeric, if I remember correctly. Nose embroidered with golden thread in a heartshape.
Lovely! I haven't seen your earlier work, but these are all very cute.
I like the shading on Cupcake's face around the nose and the eyes. Also, the long fur is not often seen in small bears, which is a nice change. :clap:
