I must admit that I'm one of those who left for FB just because I couldn't keep up with all the forums, as has been said. FB has been a great venue for me to connect with old school friends, hometown friends, relatives I've never known and to meet many new people. There is the problem of having too many friends who really have no connection with but "friend" you because they know a friend of yours, make bears, or want to promote their sites for sales...and that is not just bear people.
Since I left TT my bear-making has slowed down to non existent...seem to have lost the excitement. Even though there are many bear friends on FB it isn't focused on bear-making exclusively and I think that kept me motivated. I will make more of an effort to sign in as often as possible.
Is that adorable, or what! Those bunnies' ears and just too perfect. What a great photo.
What a beauty he is. I love this look...like a young bear without the needlefelting around the snout.
I'm thinking beaver, too, along with Shane.
Thanks all for your advice and suggestions. I really did try to get her to go mohair and dressed in the dresses but she is firm and knows what she wants. I'll continue to look around for the right person for...just don't think it's me.
I was contacted by a lady wanting teddy bears made from her daughter's debutante dress and her own wedding dress. I suggested she might consider a mohair bear dressed in fabric from those special dresses (sent bear pics) but she's definite that she doesn't want furry, she wants smooth. I'm not comfortable cutting into her special dresses since I've never tried that before. Anyone have any such experience or anyone who might know someone? Thanks.
You fooled me, too; I was expecting a "dessert scene" like "duck soup." They are beautiful and yummy looking. Please send the coconut icebox cake and the dark chocolate cake, please.
Simply, totally and absolutely delicious!
Now, that is just too precious.
They are just so CUTE! Adorable...just precious.
I just had a FB friend ask me how to get a spot out of a vintage cheeta print coat. She thinks the spot may be candy. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help.
He's adorable. Lovely mohair.
She's so sweet. Just precious.
That is great. He even looks like Elton John.
Sweet. He does look very protective of the baby.
Thank you very much, ladies.
Laura, I really don't do colored noses, either. They just don't look right to me on my bears. But I always love the way Paula color-coordinates her noses, ears and paws with the fur. I just jumped out there and did it and I've had positive comments about her.
Thanks, Cyndee, yes, a new photo a few years older. That's Pollyanna in the photo with me...she's the Sealyham that belongs to our breeders. She gets to come visit sometimes.
He's a heartbreaker with those eyes and fancy duds.
Very sweet face.
Oh, that just makes you say aaawwww, that's so cute.
Very sweet face. I think I still have a small piece of mohair like that, too.
Hi Eliza. Bella is a sweetie.
They are all just great. I like the litthe hedgehog, too.
You really have been busy. Love your little bumble bee and the little bags.
He's very cute. Love that mohair and the color.
