Teddy Talk: Creating, Collecting, Connecting

Elmore is a hand knitted toy elephant. Designed with floppy arms and legs, he is 8.5" tall (7.5" sitting). His neck bow is unbleached muslin.

Ruffles is a collectible artist elephant. She is non-jointed, 2-1/2 inches tall, 6 inches long, crocheted with cotton embroidery thread. To add a bit of weight, there is a small bag of plastic pellets in her tummy and is semi-solidly filled with polyfil.

Fancy was created from the Elefante pattern by Susan B. Anderson.  She stands a bit over 5 inches tall, knitted with variegated pink, rose, peach, white and Spring green acrylic yarn. Her legs are fixed in position and her head is jointed so she can turn it to see all around her. She is semi-solidly filled with polyfil and glass weights in her legs. Fancy didn't really want to have a ribbon, but I talked her into wearing a pink and white one.

Good to see another one of your little bears.  His cabled scarf is perfect for this time of year and the pumpkin pincushion is a great finishing touch.

Prince is a collectible, miniature OOAK artist bear. He stands 4 inches tall, crocheted with a furry, pale beige strand of my signature yarn.. He is 5-way thread jointed and solidly filled with polyfil. His crocheted collar is my original design...... olive, gold and burgundy size 80 cotton tatting thread.

Jack stands 4 inches tall, crocheted with curly, multi-color dark brown yarn as the main body color and golden furry yarn for muzzle, footpads and inner ears.  His fancy collar was shuttle tatted with silky rayon machine embroidery thread in shades of brown, gold and tan.

Sugar has received her very first Valentine and just had to have some pictures taken with it.  She would really like to know the secret admirer who sent it to her.  She stands 4 inches tall, crocheted with a furry strand of my signature yarn.  The main color is taupe even tho' it looks gray in the pictures.  Her tummy, muzzle, footpads and inner ears are light beige.  Her collar is a new design shuttle tatted with variegated pink, red and burgundy quilting thread.
