For artists and collectors sponsored by Intercal...your mohair supplier and Johnna's Mohair Store
Hello there! I'm still fairly new to the TT forums, so I'm not quite sure if I'm doing this right. I'm hoping to swap a little chap I've already completed for something someone else has done. If I've done it correctly, there should be a picture of my little Lambert in this post, which is what I'm offering. If your interested in swapping with me, please either post in this thread or send me a message, with a picture of what you'd like to swap. Sorry if I've posted in the wrong place, thanks!
Shannon
Thank you all for your wonderful comments, makes me feel like I'm on the right track!
Hello everyone!!
I'm very excited, this is my first ever bear for sale. I'd like you to meet Lambert, a huggable fellow! Lambert is 7 1/2 inches tall and made from a lovely cream synthetic plush with caramel-coloured guard hairs. I've got him listed on my blog for sale as I'm still working on a website (looooooong process!). You can also PM me here, or e-mail me to adopt him. Thanks for taking a look!
Thanks ladies, I'm beginning to think that I'm worrying for nothing. So long as the extra step is taken in describing what's in the bear, I hopefully shouldn't have any problems.
Howdy, I'm hoping the kind folks of Teddy Talk can help ease my shipping fears.
I've heard countless horror stories of bears being ripped open and gutted by Customs officers because we use metal joints and steel shot in them. Is there a way to avoid this somehow?? Maybe writing on the shipping label that the bear contains metal pieces would help? Let me know if any of you have any tips or personal experiences that will help this poor newbie out! Thanks ever so much.
