Thanks for all the kind words about my Charmin bear, it was really difficult triyng to make a bear from a flat picture but i think i got the look I wanted eventually! :P

now that made me laugh!

I found a pic of my "Charmin" bear, he looks better in the fur. I still have all the pictures they sent to me before their launch.

Just to confirm Our loo roll(UK) is soft and smooth and we go through a roll a day somtimes!

I have always wanted a bidet, but my current bathroom is too small.

We have some toilet roll here called charmin, it has a teddy bear inprinted in it.
About 4/5 years ago a company contacted me to make a bear for them, for a promotion.
I made the bear and got paid they would have bought the patern from me too, but it would have been to expensive for them to reproduce, as they were looking for a bean bag type bear to give away when you collected tokens.
I made three prototype bears they have one I have one and a friend has the thrid one.

I use the same perle cotton that i use for the nose, cut it in to 3 equal lengths tie a knott in the middle of each and pull it through the muzzle area with a single length with your eye needle and pull the knott through then hide the hole.

this is interesting reading,
when I buy my filling I get a certificate stating it conforming to British safety standards. but on my tags i put :- This one of a kind bear is made from mohair has glass eyes, polyester fibre filling( has a steel shot or pellet ) filled tummy and is fully jointed. This bear is not suitable for children under 14years old.
with my address phone number and web site details.

I also have a sew in label with my company name my address phone number and web site details, also not suitable for children under 14 years old
so I am doubly covered

Good idea, but i think I would eat the sweets!     

I remember a lady looking at my bears at a show with a small child in a pushchair, the child had a sticky lolly in its hand, the mother was oblivious to the child as she was engrossed with looking at the bears I had on display.
I could see the child getting ready to grab one of my smaller bears who was sat at the front, I thought now what am I going to do!
just as I was ready to rugby tackle the tot, the mum moved the pushchair away. Thank goodness for that! I now sit tiny bears on a shelf at the top of the stand .

Anther show a boy and his dad were looking at the bears the boy stood with each elbow resting on one of my lying down bears tummy, with his finger stuck up his nose. I calmly walked round and said "don't do that please" the dad said "something wrong?" i said "all's ok now carry on browsing!"..................
