i made a few testbears with "affenhaut" translated monkeyskin, dunno what the right name in english
its easy to work with because it doesnt stretch, and doesnt fray
the shown teddy is about 30cm high, with bad joints
(i will fix the joints and make a tatoo teddy out of it some day)
i use pencil on light fabrics
stupid me did a mark on the legs (for the joints) with black gelpen once and it bleeded terrible through the fabric ....
i tried to rub it off with water, alcohol and nailpolishremover ... made it not a bit better, but i had not a dot but a grayisch spot then...
i tried to hide this mistake with shading all over the bear with gray color ... now it looks like it should be like that....

i am sure you find something like this in your area too
this things come like a tong, in sets with lots of diffrent sized cutter pieces to screw onto a handle ....
and all are very cheap
