Thanks Jen! I like your blog too, especially the article on dog fostering... very good points and so true! I'll follow yours as well
Thank you very much  I just checked out your blog as well! I love your title with the old script and your two teddies on the side, very pretty
I hope you dont mind if I follow your blog too!
Hi everyone!! I hope you are all having a great day! Today I finally finished setting up my blog for "Heidi Bears", it was a little bit harder to make than I expected but I think it turned out okay. Eventually I think I may want to start selling some of my bears so that I can continue to create after all the fabric has run out and a blog seemed like a good way to get publicity. I'd appreciate it very much if you took a peak in your spare time
... Thank you all!!

So beautiful!!!

I think most windows computers come with the "paint" program... you might be able to hit open your picture with this program and then resize it by hitting the resize button and then type in the width and height of pixels you desire.. hope this helped
Just adorable!! The colors are so perfect and he looks so sweet
you did a great job!!!
A change in a new direction might just be what you need…. Experimenting with different techniques and ideas is always fun, and can really be an enjoyable experience. And no matter what direction your teddy bears take remember that you have a lot of experience from making past bears already under your belt so even if your bears look different they will still be a work of art. When you look at the gallery here on teddytalk you see tons of different looking unique bears, everyone’s opinion of what the “perfect bear†is, is different.. And we all strive for some ideal image that for some may never even reach that goal.. (that’s the beauty of art, there is always room to improve and its all about perspective) and yet when they see other peoples bears they fall in love and it looks just like that bear they dreamed of (perhaps it is because you are not critiquing every little detail like you might do to your own but rather viewing the piece as a whole). Sometimes changes can be scary especially large ones when you spend so many hours sweating over every little detail in a pattern, but I find it helps if you put it aside for a day and then come back and look at it, sometimes a bear or a pattern can look different in the light of a new day. Either way I believe that only good things will come from experimenting, don’t be afraid to try new things and just have fun with it! It is your creation, your work of art, and you can make it any way you want… you will come up with something that is unique and special.. just what the customers are after !
Thanks Conni!

Thank you Julia
he does look kind of sleepy!
Thanks Becky!!
Just finished my latest bear, as you can tell from the giant mess behind him! It rained yesterday in the sunshine state and its still to wet outside to take this little guy out and photograph him so this will have to do for now
. this little kermode cub is only 4 inches tall, with a handmade shiny black FIMO nose made by me, tiny little eyelids, and a needle sculpted pink tounge sticking out. He is also 5 way jointed, and has itty bitty little needle sculpted toes. Thank you for looking and i appreciate your comments! - the slowest bear maker in the world!
WOW!!! He is so handsome!! His nose and mouth are just perfect! I am sure that she will love him
yes thank you very much for clarifying that for me! Does anyone ever make a regular head and then sew the pieces on top?
For the cut pieces do you just sew them on and stuff them? Or how does that work? Sorry for all the questions, this is all so new to me!
Where do people usually put darts? Just the legs ?
Oh wow ! That is really neat, I had no idea you could do that but that makes sense now!
