It should be fun to have the puppies around.
Thanks for the pictures. :photo:
I use Homestead.com to host our sites. They also offer a free web builder that is easy to use. And you can expand as you need to.
It runs us about $35.00, but we have two web sites.
Here's a link to their package pages. They have a starter package for $9.99//mon.
http://www.homestead.com/~site/hslo/pac … ite.ffhtml
I have priced out everything that they include in this package and for us it is the cheapest way to go. And it is an easy way for us to maintain our sites. Plus, it is the least amount of headache for me. You can try it and see.
P.S. Here's the link to the free trial.

May I also suggest... this domain name.

I'll bring pictures of our open house to Schaumburg for you to see.
Yeah Yeah, I know, I know... you all will want me to post them here. Again, I say I have to dig them out.
At one time I did have a web page on mom site for the open house. Would display photos on there and post the next year's dates as soon as the current year's show was finished.
Daphne -
Wanna come over and help me dig out photos????
Take it one page at a time.
Could I suggest sitting down and creating a web plan.
Title for each page, purpose, and content.
i.e.
Title = Home Page (Bears by Jodi)
Purpose = Welcome to Bears by Jodi
Content = Links to different pages on site, Photo of New Bear, Logo (if you have one)
Good Luck, if you need help just ask.

The new Avatar looks great. Did you make that yourself? ![]()
Lookin' pretty nice and classy... I like the vintage photos but then again I have always liked old photos.
The really nice ones you frame and hang on your wall... vola! Instant Ancestors!
Sue Ann -
I don't know that first bear you posted looks pretty nice to me.
I know that fabric I made a few pieces out of it in my day, like I'm so old.
There are a few of you that were good at this right out of the gate.
I'm still digging for photos. :photo: "CLICK!" as MaeLynn says.
If you fall down, try to make it look like you did it on purpose, and get up as gracefully as possible.
I do this all the time...

The rules are clearly explained in sub section B -c/d 23-305.4 of your membership agreement. You may never alter another persons pattern! And you must always use Intercal Fabrics! To be eligible to win any prizes you must be 18 to enter and must be a resident of the United States of America.

Just teasing you...
The rules, if any, are usually listed in the 1st post that is made. Our biggest rule is post pictures and share!
Use any fabric you have. We are a pretty easy going group on here. The one rule that people usually try to make is the deadline. But I think that can vary greatly. I think I posted something to a challenge about a month after it was due.
Relax and Have FUN!

I have decided that there will be special section in
Heaven
for those of us who worked retail. I don't know if I will ever get to that section as I will be busy rolling the mohair.
They have decided get rid of the layaway department in our store. I don't know if this is corporate wide, but I think it is.
Anyone else out there go to your local Wal*Mart and let me know if they are doing away with Layaway, please.
If Jared had made beet-colored bunnies, we could call it, "March of the Borscht..."

Borscht is one of those things like wurst. It sounds icky and gross, but really once you see what goes in the pot, it ain't that bad. Sometime it might even be good.
I had to check out the Julia's thread. It looks good to me.
Though, I won't be making it as I have a severe allergy to cooking and the kitchen.

You did see Beetrum, right??? He's the one in the middle...
Shelli -
You could call him FRED, ED, NED, TED, or my personal Favorite
.
Everyone -
I still have the very first bear that I designed and made around somewhere. I'll have to post a picture of the K-mart bears that mom made.
This is going to be a fun thread.
What a great idea!
The animals get the help that they need and you get to help out.
Wonderful!!!!
:bday: :cake: :bday: :cake: :bday: :cake:
I am actually hoping to have time to do this one... but it might not get finished until Christmas... next year...
