To the rest of you... I just can't thank you enough for the kindness of your comments about me and my bears.  Words fail me.  Your support has moved me to tears, truly.  The good kind, I mean.

Thank you so much.

Hugs and love,     bear_wub  bear_wub  bear_wub  bear_flower  bear_flower  bear_flower

Enough said - hopefully we've done the trick and cheered you up just a little.

TTrs always speak the truth -all the comments were meant from the heart and delivered to a very nice Lady. Just imagine if we had all descended en masse to your house to deliver these good wishes personally - wow - what a rave up that would have been.

Take Care

What  brilliant thing to happen.

Everything's already been said really --Drat...............................

Can I just add my CONGRATULATIONS to you and to all those who entered.

Speaking for myself - its something to aim for.

Congratulations - yet further examples of your skill and imagination.

I doubt very much that you'll be bringing any home.

Take care...........................

Chowlea Bears

How wonderful.     Which method did you decide on in the end?
What type of mohair is he?

Congratulations.

Shelli - more experienced bearmakers than I have provided what to my mind is sound advice and probably corroborates what deep down you know yourself.

Like others have said - you have given support and encouragement to all  TTrs and stretched their bearmaking and computer talents to places they didn't even know existed. You have continued to grow in your own skill and competitions - well - say no more. (Goodness - sounds like an end of term report doesn't it)

It seems to me - that you can't keep this pace up indefinitely and are entitled to some slow down time unless you have the time machine that generates more than 24/7.  Your friends and customers will know you'll be back to full steam ahead soon, and waiting for your new creations to burst forth is all part of the excitement.  Good things come to those who wait- right?

Anyway  enough of my ranting - just know your cheering section is here.................
Hope this helps just a little.........

ARNICA, ARNICA ARNICA!!!  Be sure to get the tablets in him, and the gel on him as soon as you can Judi!!  Its amazing how fast arnica can help heal bruising and torn muscles.

:D

Here, here!!!!!!!   Try massage balm with arnica - wouldn't be without it.  It doesn't smell like wintergreen either.

Hope he feels better soon.

Ther's only one word for this dress - STUNNING.

Did you handmake the lace as well?

I'll also be quoting Chowley Bears in this editorial, although couldn't fit your name in the advert, sorry Sandra, i'll certainly mention your business name in the editorial as your starting out and that's the main issue of this editorial, to help those beginning.

Thank you so much Lisa - its a tad overwhelming.

One note - please don't think I'm being picky..................but its Chowlea not Chowley

Congratulations with the list Eileen - from a quill pen merchant - I stand back in awe..........

Chowlea Bears

Kassie - the pics are brilliant .................... bu I have to say - your creations are MINDBLOWING.

You have discovered something truly unique - MANY CONGRATULATIONS.

Chowlea Bears

Jenny - maybe the Lady/Gentleman has had some family emergency that has taken priority - ccomputer meltdown.............. there maybe any number of reasons to speculate.

In my humble opinion - you have been very kind in giving time for the person to contact you - you have copies of emails, and your phone records should indicate calls attempted - should there ever be an issue about it.
Its possible I suppose - that a financial emergency may have arisen and s/he could be too embarrassed to tell you.  We could go on speculating all day.

If I were the potential buyer, I would say you have been very fair, and perhaps they will be able to respond on a future occasion if they want one of your desirable creations(and who wouldn't.....)

Just my two-pennoth for what its worth.

Chowlea Bears

How FANTASTIC is that ............. can't wait to see the results.

MANY CONGRATULATIONS............................

Just think- you'll be able to catch up on you reading when you feel a little better - I always find reading a good escape and a refuge.

Becky - there was a recent thread on here - something like 'How do you store your patterns' It had a lot of very interesting contributions from people giving several different alternatives.

I hope you can find it - its a very good read plus lots of practical tips.

I think Lisa cuts out her patterns in MDF or some such.

I'd just tie them off near the disk at the back of the head.  I wouldn't want to risk stratching up the paint on the back of the eyes.  Depending on what kind of paint you use, and how thick it is, I think it could happen.

Kim, when you do the eyes like that, how do you stop the bear looking as though he's gazing heavenward for inspiration.  Even sculpting the eye socket doesn't entirely solve the problem for me when I try it that way?

Chowlea Bears

Brilliant day out Nancy.

You can just hear the conversation between your children when they are sixty years old........'Do you remember that day when Mum took us to...................

Congratulations FORD

Success is .............................feeling great when you've achieved/mastered  something you never thought you could - irrespective of anyone else...................Does  everyone remember learning to ride a bike?  You struggle and struggle and struggle and then suddenly - off you go.  Bit like life in general eh.......getting up after you fall on the floor.

Just my two penneth worth.

Chowlea Bears

Thank you everyone for the kind words.

bear_original Really beautiful, Sandra--Penny does beautiful work. The colors and background pattern are Just Right!

Penny had such a time - I'm colour blind which restricts somewhat.  She had to make sure I could see it.

Looks great Sandra. I love the bear too. I can't believe how quick you have developed your style. Good on ya!!

I didnt know I had one..............seriously..........

Chowlea Bears

Look look, look, look what Penny has done for me..........................

I have an avatar all of my own.  She has also created a banner for me - but since my website is 'still under construction (is that the terminology) I haven't put that on yet.  Actually - I haven't figured out how to create one yet. I obviously need to borrow someone's three year old to show me what to do.

Penny - I'm soooooooooooo grateful and exited - I could crush a grape.

This lady is fantastic -so patient.   Of course I must have inadvertently put a curse on her  technical equipment as usual - her computer broke down when she was right in the middle of creating - but you know all about that.
Its always the same - that's why there are no pics of me - the camera breaks - literally.

Hope you all like my 'new identity'.

Thanks for letting me show off a little (it doesn't happen very often - a girl has to make the most of opportunities that arise..............)
