Thanks Tammy...I actually had emailed Nancy directly but since I haven't heard from her yet I went ahead and located the "Abuse Report" and sent one that way too!!!

Makes me sad to do that...but I guess business is business...now to relist my poor little Livia...poor thing is in near tears!!!     

I reported her to Nancy...gave her the auction #...her ID, name and told her I would be happy to share the communications...or lack there of.  I just really don't want negative feedback left for me because I've been more than patient...but she certainly deserves it.  I don't want this person doing this to someone else...especially someone who has a bear with a high dollar amount...mine was not.  I'm not out a huge amount of money...it's just the principle.

Well...I guess that answers that question...my email just came back to me as "undeliverable...permanent fatal errors"...she has blocked my email as SPAM!!!

I'll be contacting Nancy...right away!!! How rude...I've emailed her TWICE!!!

I sent Nancy an email regarding Bid4Bears policy on nonpaying bidders but I haven't heard back from her yet.  I couldn't find anything on the site (it's probably a snake and would bite me...so if someone else found it...please point me in the right direction... )

I've sent my nonpayer a final email requesting that she get back to me with her intent no later than Tuesday...and if I haven't heard from her then I will assume (that nasty word) that she is no longer interested and I will be making my little dumpling available to other hungry buyers.   :crackup:

We'll see what happens.  I'll either get paid...get ignored...but I better not get negative feedback...I'll be PISSED!!!

Question....

My last auction  which was on Bid4Bears has yet to be paid for...it closed on April 15.  I clearly stated (I just checked to be sure) that payment was to be made within 24 hours but to contact me if other arrangements needed to be made as I was flexible.  The person who won the auction asked for the following Friday...no problem...I'm easy to work with.   I've emailed...no response.  Do I email again...or just email them and say that I'm making the bear available to other buyers and go on...not that I have anyone currently interested but at this point I don't feel as though they will be paying.  I realize life happens...I would just like to be communicated with even if it's a line of B.S.

Now today I get an email from Singapore via Bearpile and I'm feeling a bit....nervous...totally NOT like me.  I'm usually the person who says "oh you should be trusting...not everyone in the world is a scam artist."   :crackup:   :crackup:

Awwww...Danni...good for you.  What a huge accomplishment...it's so hard both mentally and physically to lose weight, keep it off when you are healthy but even more so when you are not.  Congratulations!!!!

How funny, Eliza...that happened to me too!!!  A friend of mine turned my son and I on to them before they became popular here in the US too.  I was desperately trying to find SOMETHING, ANYTHING to encourage my youngest son to read...he just didn't like it at all...found it utterly booooooooring.  Her son, and Taylor's friend, was reading the first Harry Potter book only the British version and just loved it so be borrowed it as soon has  Mac finished...we were hooked from then on and couldn't wait for each book to come out....still can't.  I read them BEFORE he does.  :)

I'll be sad when they are done...I always do that with books...can't wait to find out what happens...then a big let down when it's over.  Boo Hoo!!!

I decided to start a blog not out of peer pressure...I gave that up YEARS ago but because I wanted to be able to easily post photos of my newest bears, etc.  That, and I've really enjoyed reading others....they actually are fun and often brighten my day.  I'm just not in a position to adequately maintain my website and not sure if I ever will be.

I've gotten a little sidetracked with my last blog post...you'll just  have to check it out...but other than that I'll be mostly showcasing bear related stuff.

Skippy seems to be doing well...trying to encourage her to move them into a large box on it's side instead of the garden umbrella she chose to give birth under...goofy girl.  Give her nice clean soft baby blankets and she chooses to hide under an old vintage bright yellow fringed garden umbrella sitting on an old carpet.  Of course she did this so we couldn't see her...BRAT!!!  She must be a scorpio like me...always in control.   :crackup:   :crackup:

I will post kitten pictures on my blog when I can get them...keep watching...

So....I'm back...

I've thought about the whole blog thing for awhile now and have considered it myself....even mentioned it in private to both Shelli and Aleta...who both said...DO IT...big surprise, huh?

But back to Clare's original question...do you think you need both? 

The reason I ask is because Daphne has been so gracious in updating my website that she created for me because I have yet to purchase software to do it myself...mainly because I have to get OLD software for my dino computer....OR buy a NEW computer to purchase NEW software...that and I just can't spend the time needed for the learning curve...but if blogging is as simple as you all say...perhaps it's a better option for ME.  I wouldn't give up my website but turn it into a scrapbook and direct available section to "MY BLOG" which I could more easily update with new stuff...too complicated?

Thoughts ladies....

If the real truth be known, Daphne, I don't have much sympathy for the stinkpot myself...serves her right for throwing herself at the boys in the pasture (I KID YOU NOT).   I keep laughing at her...she's hysterical to watch.

Gaby, I'll make that suggestion to her on the vertical stripes...although I think I'll get the same "look" from her.

I took this TWO weeks ago and we are STILL waiting on her to have her kittens.  She is so big now that she can barely walk....it's worse than a waddle.   She walk about 10 feet, sits down and then goes another 10 feet, sits down... POOR, POOR Skippy!!!!
