Teddy Talk: Creating, Collecting, Connecting

well my 1 st day is over and i'm getting on quite well, I have made one and a half new bears and priced up all the bears I already had.I have printed out more business cards and started packing my boxes ready to go.
Thank you Marion for the list of things to take it has come in very handy and Paula I am going to buy my table covering tomorrow.

OH MY GOD. I have just been asked to attend my first show on sunday in cornwall. That gives me two days to get ready.I 've got to make some more bears, make some bis cards, sort out my table display,price all my bears and make sure they have their tickets done.plus loads of other things I prob haven't thought of.
HELLLPPPPPP!!!    
I don't know where to start.I have a stress head already.
Anyway best go and start sewing.

You can understand why so many people these days turn a blind eye when they see things happening. They are to scared to get involved just in case they get hurt them selfs.

Now the weather is getting bad I am having to start taking photo's of my bears inside.I have bought a light box , but can't seem to get the lighting right.My bears always look the wrong colour. Does anyone know the best lights to use to shine through the box.Help it's driving me nuts

You can add me to the list as well. I had my first bout of dizziness back in july.I had the whole room spin around about 6 times. it frightened me to death.The doctor said i had a mild form of labyrinthitis. even now 4 months later i still sometimes get the feeling of tipping sideways or rocking as though i am on a boat.it does seem worse if i am on the computer or sewing (how strange)
Thanks shelli for writing up the cause, you have told me more that any of the doctors i;ve seen.
Kinda makes me feel better to know that i'm not the only one out there with this.
it is slowly getting better now, i wish it would stop.i find myself getting in a real panic when the tipping starts.
Anyway perhaps we should start a dizzy bear club, for all of us dizzy bear heads

Hi , It`s magpies for me.
1 for sorrow, 2 for joy, 3 for a girl, 4 for a boy, 5 for silver, 6 for gold, 7 for a story never to be told.
Every time I see 1 magpie I have to salute and say "morning mr maggatie" to stop the sorrow from coming my way.Silly I know , but I`ve done it forever and would feel weird to stop. :crackup:

Hi ,Mine do the same, they sometimes take up to 10 hours to show up. I thought it was because I was using a auction template and I always put on so many photo`s. It is very frustrating, I feel sometimes that I loose a whole nights viewing.  

OOOhhhh WOW.     I would just love snow like that, we never get snow here in somerset, uk. You prob hate it.I would love it just once, I don`t know about doing with out power for so long though. Glad your back online now. :hug:

I have had this happen to me too, I thiink it is a scam. They said they would send me a money order for more that what the bear was worth and could I send the cash back in the parcel with the bear.In the end I contacted e bay and they refunded my listing fees and final value fees. you can do this buy going to the home page and clicking on safety centre and then filling out differant forms , all quite simple really. good luck , I hope in your case this is`nt a scam, but it sounds like one to me.
