Shane - you won't regret the change!!!
You will probably find it easy to make the change, as a Mac is so easy to use, because everything about it is so logical!! Isn't it funny how anyone who uses a Mac is passionate about them, whereas you never see anyone who uses a PC raving about them!!!!
Hi!
To get the blog button under your avatar, go to 'Profile' then to 'Personal' and fill in the address of your blog.
Hope this helps!!!
Edit: Just had a little look at your blog, and it looks great!!!
Sophie,
I'm so glad you have got it to work, and I have checked out your bear on B4B- she looks great!!! Good luck with the auction!!!
HOWEVER...I have never been able to get B4B to work. I can't even view bears, it always says there is nothing listed.
How strange!!!
I can view B4B perfectly with both Safari and Firefox, my only problem comes when I want to list something, and then I have to use Firefox!!
Oh!!
I'm not sure then!! My Mac runs in Mac Os X. Are you definitley using the latest version of firefox?
I originally tried using freewebs on Safari, but when it didn't work I downloaded Firefox. A couple of weeks ago, I tried Bid4Bears on Safari and it didn't work, so I tried it on Firefox, and it was fine! I don't understand why it wouldn't work for you!
Does anyone else have an answer???
I can only suggest checking what version of Firefox you are using, and making sure it is a recent version!!
Sorry I couldn't help!!!
After all this talk of blogging, I've finally set up a blog today!! Like you, I wasn't sure how to start, but I've now added a couple of posts, to get it going, and I suddenly seem to have so much to say!!! (which, coming from a shy and quiet person, is a bit of a surprise!!! )
I certainly won't have time to add something everyday (and I'm really not that interesting either!!! ), but I should think it will be more enjoyable for people to read, if I only add something when I actually have something interesting to write.
AAaaahhhhhhhh!! This one really made me smile!!
So cute!!!!!!!
Hi Sophie,
I am using a Mac - they are excellent computers - I wouldn't touch a Microsoft computer now that I have experienced a Mac!!
Anyway, I have been able to list on Bid4Bears. I use the internet programme 'Firefox'. If you try and use 'Safari' or something similar, then it will not work. You can download the Firefox explorer for free from the Apple website. I'll go an find the link and then post it here in a minute.
I have found a similar problem when trying to do my own website. Safari cannot display it properly, so I use Firefox and have had no problems!!
Hope this helps!!!
Edit: I'm back! Try this link:

You can download Firefox for free. When it is installed on your Mac, you can use it in the same way as any internet browser, but it should allow you to list on Bid4Bears.
Let me know if you have any problems, and I'll do what I can to help.
I too don't like coffee but love the smell, but couldn't think of the word 'aromatic' (which is what I meant!!) and so wrote 'smelly'!!! hhhmmmmm.........
Congratulations!!!!!
What absolutely wonderful news!! Enjoy it!!! I look forward to hearing more, as things progress!!!
Aaahhhhh!!! So cute!!!
He is gorgeous!!! I love his colour - its one of my favourite colours for a bear!!!
He has such a beautiful face, and I really love his hat and pumpkin!!! What a beautiful set!!!

What wonderful pictures!!!
Congratulations!!! They are all so cute, and Mom looks to be taking it all in her stride!!!
What wonderful news!! You must be so excited.
And what a nice relief it is to hear some good news after all that is happening in the world.
Enjoy your excitement!!!!
Its all over the news here in the UK. Such an horrific tragedy. What else can you say?

Even though I am blonde, I still found this hilarious!!!! Good one!!!
I'm so very sorry Jane.
My thoughts are with you and your family at this deeply sad time.
Wow!! You've done a great job.
Paula has got in there first with the few mistakes I spotted.
I can't believe you have managed to produce a website in three languages - I find it time-consuming enough to do my website in one language!!
I've just had a quick look, but I don't think I can see your bear Milo. Could you post a photo of him, to help us look?
Don't worry if he is not in this issue. Sometimes it can take a month or two for a submitted bear to appear. I guess it depends how many other people have submitted a bear.
Were you told that he would definitley appear in this issue?
I personally don't have a pet of my own, but my mum has a beautiful birman cat, called Molly, who we are looking after for her for a few days whilst my parents are away, and she is sat on my lap as I type!! She seems to enjoy her little holidays where she comes to live with us , and she makes herself at home very quickly!!
The following pictures are when I had done a practice 'set-up' of my stall, at home, before a show, and Molly had come to visit. You can see that she is happily looking at the bears in the first photo, but she just couldn't resist trying to take one in the second photo!!!
Really sweet!! I love the wings, and the sparkles on the nose!!
