Have just arrived home from our R&R on the coast, actually being home is more like the rest and recreation we need as we had parked the caravan in the drive of our daughters holiday house.

Early morning breakfast was held when the 3 grandsons and 2 friends were knocking on the van door...."granma, can we come in"...little darlings.

Have just read the article in the mag and am I so over the moon and excited...my bear is in it... thank-you Sandi for promoting us not as well known bearmakers... bear_wub

Lakes-2.jpgLakes-1.jpgLakes-3.jpgLakes-5.jpgLakes-4.jpgHave just arrived home from a craft market and boy am I pooped (tired)

Here are some snaps of the location.
Beachside town.

I did sell some bears and also handed out a lot of business cards.

Had a lot of positive feedback from the lookers and created some smiles on the crowd as they looked over the bears..

So was happy with the days outcome..

Well, tomorrow we are off for some R&R so will see you all in approx. 7 days...

Keep nice..

Good luck with your shop, and I am jealous that you buy a gift for your wife every month....

Most of the snakes we have in Australia are nasty venom biting critters.

They are all protected though.
Its not like they will chase you to bite you, most times when they have bitten someone it is because they have been cornered and feel threatened.

I"m fine now...life goes on...

Denise is not at all happy.

My ornament that I posted out has gone missing, the ornament that I was to receive has not arrived.

The person that was to send one to me ( same person that I sent mine to) has not answered any emails regarding this matter,

The address I sent mine out to, on doing a search there is no such street in this suberb...Australia Post did confirm to me that it was in the area.( but if there is no such street it cannot be delivered.)

And guess what, a search failed to find a contact phone number ( okay it could be a silent number )
I posted it out on the 8th. Dec. and it arrived at the mail centre on the 11th, this Aussie post told me.

Now, I have to contact Australia Post for the third time and find out how I can get my little parcel back.

This lady has not been on this forum since way back in Nov.
Why do some people put their hand up and then do not fulfill their committment.

Not at all happy... bear_angry

I haven't got close enough to measure him/her but I guess about 12"-30cm.

The fable about the blue tongues is if they happen to bite you a sore will appear every 12 months on the bite sight.

I think that all will happen is the bite may get infectious as their mouths harbor a lot of bacteria.
If they do bite you it means you have gotten too close and they have been annoyed.

Another fable is, if you have a blue tongue in your yard there will be no snakes.

All stories I reckon..

Lizzy-Lizard.JPGLizzy Lizard is a blue tongue lizard that lives under our house.

Now that the weather is getting warmer she/he comes out to have a sunbake...
Penny hasn't found her yet...

Excellant work, the paws look terrific.

Noses are a pain for me as well as I am never happy with the ones I do.

I do like to do needlefelted noses..have a go at that..a little easier than embroiding..

tuppies teddies

Still waiting for mine and am still waiting on the one I sent out to be confirmed that it has been delivered...

tuppies teddies

I am currently using upholstery thread..like string but finer...

When I shape mine I stitch and pull where the eyes are to go.

Once the eyes are in place I then needle-sculpture between the eyes with tiny stitches..hope that helps..

Congratulations, 2009 is looking great now..

Wow, I just love my cleavage BUT who is my partner????

I have saved it and am going to send it onto my family.

Must say Sandi and I had a wonderful time....

tuppies teddies

Thank-you Daphne, Ellen and Nancy.( lovely Ho Hos )

Its so great to receive cards from friends from all over the world.

I have one more card to receive.

Hope the ones I sent have reached their destinations...

tuppies teddies

Same goes for me, I sent my ornament out 2 weeks ago (Australia) so it definately did not have far to go.
Tomorrow, I am going to check with the post office as I registered it so I should be able to check if it has been delivered as the person would have to sign for it.

Unfortunately in my rush to send it I neglected to take a piccie of it..

I have my mohair stored in a blanket box.  The same problem occurs for me when I am searching, the mohair does a crocodile roll and then I end up unpacking it and repacking.  The upside is, is gets me all enthused again when I find a piece of mohair that I forgot I had.
There has to be a positive side to everything...

tuppies teddies

All these ornamounts are simply stunning.

I posted mine out a week ago, haven't heard from the recipient yet...can't wait to receive mine, but then I guess I have to.

My cards have all gone out, hope they have been received and I have recieved one card so far.

Isn't Christmas great, not just for the kids...
