I love this little guy - the shading around the face is very effective.
Cheers,
Claire.
Wonderful job - I love the colours and his charming expression.

Hi everyone
I would like to share my new creation, Riverboat Ralph, inspired by the canal boats near my home.

He is so cute, Elena, I love him. The hat and mittens are inspired.

Another lovely bunny from Sarah's Bruins - and I can say that with authority, because I own one - ! Best of luck with the auction, Sarah.

Hi Teddy Talkers
I would like to introduce Brunswick, a brown bear cub. He is wired, as well as jointed. I had great fun doing the felting on his paw pads.
He is available now on Etsy and Bear Pile.
Best wishes,
Claire.
Hello, all
I would like to introduce my new design, Lester Lemondrop, a little cat. I took my inspiration from Japanese art.
He is currently on Etsy, if you would like to pay a visit.

Hi Lotte
This is a really lovely bear. I love his name as well.
Best wishes
Claire.
Love the use of colour, and a great expression on his face - he looks like he's thinking.
Kind regards,
Claire.
Many thanks, guys - I'm really glad you like them! They are a little different to my previous designs.
The wool in Archies jumper was really fine, I would say about 1ply. I guess in the 1940s and 50s they used to double the wool over (thus the term 'double knitting'), but I'm not sure about that. I had to use the finest needles I could find - 2mm - and even then the finished product was quite cobweb-like.
Looking at it now I don't know what possessed me!
Kind regards,
Claire.
Hi Bonnie
I had some pin badges made up with my Copi Khatz logo on. I think they are great for that retro feel, and have used them on one or two pieces.
Good luck with your first bear, I'm sure it will be great. Look forward to it!
Best wishes,
Claire.
That's a great idea - I wish I'd thought of it! Potentially Kym-Jo's tail could support him. I used sturdy stainless steel wire, doubled over.
The hands and feet did take a while. I used a tiny needle, so as not to damage the felt. Nice way to spend an afternoon, though...
Kind regards,
Claire.
Cheers, Bonnie. Many thanks for your kind words
Cheers, Lynne - I have to admit, I will find it had to part with this particular one...
Kind regards,
Claire.
Many thanks, guys - I'm really glad you like them. I hope to make some more monkeys some day soon.
Kind regards,
Claire.
Hi Bonny
Many thanks. I did make myself a scarf just like that actually - in brown and pink!
Kind regards,
Claire.
I love the humanlike quality you get in your teddies; they look like little people. I used to know I guy who looked like this bear - seriously.
Great job.
Best wishes,
Claire.
