Teddy Talk: Creating, Collecting, Connecting

I am pleased to introduce you to another of my bug creatures -do hope he makes you smile? he measures 12" not including his feelers.
Bumblee has a cute googly eyed porcelain face with set in beautiful acrylic dolls eyes.
I have made his body with mohair and hand dyed the stripes .His ear insides and paw pads are cashmere and he is weighted with a bag of sand in his tummy.

They seek him here ,they seek him there -that darned elusive pimpernel!!
The Pimpernel is made in my old loved bear style with lots of ageing and darns.
I have made him from a beautiful red mohair -it is wonderful for shaving as it has a light tan backing.
Pimpernel has English glass eyes and a sparsely embroidered nose for a well kissed look.He wears an aged silk and cotton hat with a rusty bell and a matching ruffle.

What a little darling -beautiful face and eyes.  

Apple Dumpling is one of my little googly eyed pandas -She has a porcelain face with set in dolls green eyes and a little water melon mouth -very cute!
I have made her body in a German mohair that I have hand dyed to this beautiful green colour.I have also dyed her felt paw pads.

Hi Sue -hope I can get there -Victoria is not open that Sunday so will have to find another route -I have to come by train.I expect to be in a right old stew when i get there -what with changing trains and underground etc;

Guiseppi is one of my old loved clown series -he measures 16" without his hat.
I have hand dyed his body fur to an old green and orange colour and have aged him with shading ,shaving and darns.
Guiseppi has antique boot button eyes and a sparingly embroidered nose for a well kissed look.He wears a felt hat and a neck ruffle and pompoms all of which have been aged.
He is cotter pin jointed and filled with a heavy weight filling.

Cubbin is one of my old loved bears -he is 12" tall and is on bearple now looking for a new mum! He is sitting with a dolly friend that I have also made who is on Dollpile.

This is my first Flutterbug bear -He is made with a hand sculpted porcelain face -his body is mohair and his arms,legs and head is alpaca.He has cashmere paw pads and beautiful iridescent wings that I bought from America.
He is cotter pin jointed and has a bag of steel shot in his tummy for a nice heavy feel.He is all stitched by hand -no machine.
