Hi Guys didnt mean to make it difficult.. heres abrief outline.

my husband & i are english, we left our full time jobs in the uk (builder and manager of boots the chemist) about 6 years ago to work in other countries teaching kitesurfing, so we have lived in St Lucia, Dominican Replublic, Egypt and now portugal.

we are back to our old jobs here, my husbnd building and i have gone back to my old work as a body therapist we also do teach kitesurfing in the summer.
we love this country but it is still difficult to live here and in countries like this , so we have decided to move before we get to old, and english speaking is important to.
New Zealand & Australia are high on our list depending if we can get visas. America is huge & we dont really know where to look there.
climate would be good but not important, near to the sea or driving distance, close to town have to think about getting old even if we dont want to.

we have been doing some searching on the net for perth & new zealand but no sure what areas would suit us, but looking at costs etc.

thanks for the ideas so far especially the states as we have no idea for there,
we donot  want to return to england that is one thing we have decided.

i hope this makes things a bit clearer. so bascially any ideas you have would be good you may live in a location or visited one you may think is good. look forward to replies thans for your time

at the moment we live in portugal but we are getting older, but do not want to grow old here, so before we get to old we want to move one last time but cannot decide where. english speaking is prefered as we do not want to learn another language........any suggestions????

hi guys
if anyone is interested in portugal head to my website and look on the page HOLIDAY ACTIVE PORTUGAL we rent out the chalet for 140 euros for the week that includes breakfast. i am a therapist so i also do treatments here aswell. we are 3 km outside of the beautiful town of lagos and close to all the beaches and 20 mins from the west coast.  we are Eco run, so quiet, basic, clean and so uplifting. get in touch anyone if you want more info, be great to have bear people, we haven't had any yet.

Hi everyone, this is a good post Becky. It is difficult to know what people like but you have to go with your heart and just design. one thing i have learnt is how much your work changes over time and how particular you get about your work. i think this is a good thing.
1. we are always learning
2. always trying to get better
3. we wont everyone one to love the bear you create as the are all so special with there own little personalities.
4. we want them all to go to good homes  :)

i'll keep heading back here to see what people say.

good one Becky bearhugs

chasa.jpgchasa-600.jpgchasa3-600.jpgThis is Chas 8 1/2 inches & is handcrafted from beautiful ginger brown tip mohair with a contrasting quality gold rayon for his muzzle, ears & paws. Chas has glass eyes with white surround to give him a 'i need a hug now look'.

His nose is felted & embroidered. He is 5 way cotter jointed & sits or stands. Inside he has his own little heart & is filled with glass beads & polyfil. which gives him a cuddley weight feel.     I have complemented Chas with a burgundy tie complete with a tie pin.
