Teddy Talk: Creating, Collecting, Connecting

Grandchildren are so yummy, cuddles for you most of the time.

My two kept me real busy as I had a 22 month old youngster as well...3 kids under 2..

I always stop any mums with twins and tell them you do survive...they seem releived..

I would love to join this swap...Feb or March sounds a good date for me as I am involved in a few shows and commissions at the moment.

Will keep tuned.

Hunny Bunny is so sweet.

I am in the throws of making a bunny too,  hopefully for the Valentine online show in Feb..

I am amazed, there are so many bearmakers that have had twins.  They were lots of hard work and sleepless nights but they were also a joy in everyway.

Linda, your two are charming also.  Don't they grow up quickly?

Thank-you.....Kerryn is a little like me but I wish I had her fine figure...Ainsley we thought was more like her Dad but when we saw pictures of her grandmother she is so like her.

Her grandmother we never knew as she died when my husband was 18 although he never met her either as he found out last year that he was adopted.

A bit sad really, but he has found a half brother who is a super guy. He is coming for a visit in Dec...

Darron is more like my side of the family...my fathers..

Having shared my garden with you all, I would like to share my recent piccies of my children.

As we live aways from them it is so good to get piccies and emails from them.
They had gone to the local races and they all got dressed up, I reckon they all look super, but I am their Mum, what else would I say..

Ainsley and Kerryn my daughters.  Ainsley in black is my eldest, Kerryn in red is a twin.

Darron, my son with his wife Bianca, Darron and Kerryn are the twins.

I had a close call with our new puppy a couple of weeks ago.

I was here on the computer and Penny was in the lounge room, she came into the study and had something hanging out of her mouth.

As she loves to chew sticks, I thought this was what she had, at closer inspection it was a sewing needle and when I took it off her the cotton that was threaded came out too.

I had left it stuck in the arm of the couch and she had got to it.

Am ever so careful now....

I like lots of colour in the garden, it does make one happy when I go for my morning wander around it...

Dorothy, we usually have the full hot traditional Chrissy meal, even if it is a hot day... my previous home had a lot of English style flowers too, I love them because most of them self seed..

Deb, what I was told about Wisteria is that you need 2 plants so they can cross pollinate, then they will flower....

  Today was 21 degrees, supposed to reach 28 degrees on Sat and it is not even summer yet..

Thought I would share my garden with you all.

This is my 2nd hobby...gardening.

The piccies are, Wisteria, Pansies and Poppies and of course the vedgie plot...

As well as business cards etc I use my laminater to strengthen my pattens.

Instead of drawing them onto cardboard, I use A4 then laminate,  If the truth be known, I just LOVE my laminater.

I got mine from the Post Office...

Get a bit daring in my maturing years....thanks girls, and many thanks to everyone that has left a message in my guestbook...

I am not sure if I look like my dog but I think she influences the look of my bears...

Had a play around with freewebs today and boy, didn't realize I could have so much control over the way my website can look.

Just by pressing a few buttons I was previously too scared to touch, and am really pleased with the new look.

I have needlefelted onto ultra suede okay....I haven't done individual toes as I had trouble getting them the same size.
What I do is felt a piece on the foam block the size to fit across the toe , then felt it onto the footpad and then use embriodery thread to seperate each toe. By pulling the embroidery thread it puffs up the toes nicely.

I generally work on the toes when the legs are complete, stuffed etc but not attached to the body..

If you check out my website, Hyacyne has had this sort of work done on her toes..

This craft is very addictive, have fun with it...

I now have a guestbook page on my website, so when you drop by I would love you to leave a comment about my bears or just say hello...

My return policy is bear can only be returned if faulty, and buyer is responsible for postage. 
I did have this happen to me recently, as if I would list a bear that has one leg shorter than the other etc..no way.

Offered the customer a refund but she wants a replacement instead.

Once the bear arrives back to me then I will make a replacement...it is a hard thing but customers should not be able to send items back just because they change their minds. How can you police this if e-bay takes the word of the buyer not the seller.

There are I know bad sellers as well, but shouldn't e-bay take into your account your feed-back.
