Marlys, I have a couple of names picked out but have not decided on the final one yet. I guess I'd better get crackin'!
Amelia, lol, is it one that you made? If so (or even if not I suppose!), you've gotta show me a pic!

WOO HOO! Congratulations, Heather!! You've joined the group of expecting teddy bear makers here on TT indeed!
I know it just kind of repeats what everyone else has said, but don't worry about being TOO awful nervous (I know, easier said than done!) something about having a baby makes you 'an old pro' in no time. Babies sure do know how to train their parents in a hurry. lol
How fun! You HAVE to keep us updated; I dunno about everyone else, but I've been trying to kinda keep up with all the other preggers here on TT. If we keep it up, Quy will have to add a pregnant smiley up top!
Feel free to PM me any time if you have anything on your mind or just wanna chat!

Thank you so much for all of your kind words. She emailed me and said that she loved him!!!! I am so glad! So I guess he will be off to live with Grace. Yay!!

Oooo, out of season or not... I looove him! He is SO sweet. Color, style, face, everything is just darling. Wonderful halloween job, Connie!

I just finished this commission bear this past weekend for a lady that adopted Grace at the Schaumburg Show. She wanted a black and cream bear to go along with Grace, who is red and cream. I just sent pics off to her for her approval; I hope she likes him! As always I'm nervous that she'll hate him!
Her favroite colors are black and red, hence the colors. :)
He's made from Intercal's 825H, hand dyed. Handpainted glass eyes, embroidered nose, sculpted toes... :)
This last picture is of Grace.

What a fun thread! I can't find a pic of our old Akita/Golden Mix, Rocky, but he looks like a black Golden Retriever. Here is a picture of Mighty Mouse, our pet mouse.

Nicci,
A warm welcome to TT and thank you so much for your tips on needlefelting! I've drooled over your work any time I see it on eBay; being a horse lover as well I think it's truly fantastic!!!! You have really got an eye for the realism in your pieces!
I hope you really enjoy being here on TT; there's so much to learn and so many great people on here that it makes for a good place to come and waste time that you really need to be working on your creations! We're all guilty of it, I think....
Again, welcome and it's great to meet you!
Kimberly W.
Thanks, gals!
Denise, they look like my husband's. I WISH my lips were that formed and full! hee hee
KimBee, I thought the EXACT same thing! ha ha Poor kid.....
Judi, I think I'm done after 3 as well. We could have more, but children are so expensive! lol I don't think we'll be having any more ultrasounds; I'm already 29 weeks, so we really only have about 10 more to go. GASP! I ONLY HAVE 10 MORE WEEKS!!!!! OK, I just scared myself.... ha ha Childbirth is not high on my 'things I really would like to do' list....
Samantha, you crack me up! Yep, she's a young one, she is! I'll be able to show her when she's like 20 and say, "See these? they are pics of you BEFORE you were born!"
Kimberly W.
Ohhhh my gosh, that is the cutest thing!! What's even cuter is how the other one floated away then came back. Hee hee hee
Kimberly W.
LOL Wendy Careful what you say, I may get to that with these nesting fits! I figure though, that s/he can't really see to appreciate the work I'd put into it, what with the dim lighting and all....
Thank you all for your comments!

LOVE the pic of the dog!!!! LOL LOL LOL Why IS it if you put clothes on a big dog, s/he looks totally peeved, but if you put clothes on a little dog, they look like they are in doggy heaven??? If I put ANYTHING on my dog, he just sits there like a statue and refuses to move. Now when we get our liiiittle dog......
Kimberly W.
Hmmm Christine, I hadn't thought of that! I'd better do that!
Claire, I got a DVD of the ultrasound too! I like being able to go back and look again.
Marlys, secretly I think the baby looks a lot like me when I was born too. I think our noses are very similar. But I'm being a nice wife and letting everyone say how much the baby looks like Chad...
hee hee
WOW, Laurie! 5!! and 4 boys!! I think even if this one's a girl I'm finished having children. I love babies and children, but I don't think I can handle any more than 3! lol
Thank you Sue Ann! I know it's nothing compared to disposable diapers, but I'm forever wowed by all the new fangled stuff they are coming out with and how streamlined everything is. I DO remember playpens being big, heavy, bulky square things that no one dared move and that took up half the room. lol Look at them now, all sleek and curvy and folding down to the size of a matchbox!

Thank you ladies so much! We ARE excited! It was really very neat to actually see the baby before it's born! Everyone's concluded that s/he looks just like Chad and Brynn. He must have strong genes... lol
Apparently s/he is very flexible (what baby isn't though, huh? lol) because she was folded pretty much in half with her knees to her chest and her feet by her head. We'd see the face then a foot and I'm thinking "Wow! Where'd that come from??" lol
I was thinking moon, too! lol my sister said it looks like an angel wing to her.
Bobbie, no I don't mind if you save the pic at all!
Kimberly W.
Hello everyone!
Well, we had our 3D ultrasound done this past weekend, and it was really NEAT!! I guess the baby is going to look exactly like Brynn (our youngest) when s/he comes! The Dr. checked the gender for us again and he said that he was 95% certain that this is a girl!!!! Another one!! ha ha ha, that makes 3 for us! I never will be convinced though until the baby is born and I see privates! Baby girl's clothes are cuter anyway....
Everything looked good and healthy; we even got some good pictures of the baby's feet. I loooove baby feet!
In the last pic you can see her(?) arm beside her face. This is how she ended up falling asleep and the Dr. couldn't get any more good pics... lol
Kimberly W.
ooooo, THANK YOU Tami! I think the baby could use a little carrot cake....
Kimberly W.
Thank you all SO much! Your input is very much appreciated. I've never worked with this fake water stuff before; I love it! It's really added just 'something' to the whole thing, like it's alive now. I feel like all my hard work and back pain was very much worth it now after getting feedback from you all! I was really worried since I haven't sculpted in quite a while!
appreciative hugs,
Kimberly W.
Well, I decided that she really needed a base, and I kept thinking of her sitting on a mushroom with her feet dipping into a little pool of water. So here she is on her new base that I've been working on for the last two days... all I need to add is the water but I wanted to take the pics first because I knew I couldn't move it once I put the fake water in. It is getting later, so the light isn't as good. The mushroom has the ribbing on the underside of the top but it's pretty much impossible to see. Haven't decided yet if I'm going to bring the moss all the way down to the bottom of the base or not.
Man, I swear your bears are just unbelievably cute.... I could just smooch them!
Kimberly W.
Hi Shelli, thank you! I just measured her and she's about 4.5 inches from her bum to the top of her head; if she were a standing faerie she'd be just over 7.5 inches tall.
Karen, I just noticed, I DID say next month, didn't I?? Agh! Do you know what that means??? I have less time than I thought!
Only two weeks! Oh, I WISH I could do the Disney Epcot show in May. It's so far away and plus I don't think we could afford it, unfortunately. Maybe one of these years I can do that.
When the kids are older and my eldest can babysit.... hee hee
