Teddy Talk: Creating, Collecting, Connecting

I am really pleased to introduce you to Zodiac a very special bear I have enjoyed so much to make. She is approx 15 inches high and made from a very soft faux fur. Her belly is entirely hand painted using acrylic paint on canvas and lightly varnished for protection. It is based on a painting called Zodiac by Alphonse Mucha. I made Sunbeam to cheer me up now that January is here and all the festivities are over with for another year
Sunbeam has a big smile and lots of personality Her face has been made in canvas, which I have painted and sculpted to give Sunbeam a OOAK look. Her nose is painted in a myriad of colours which has been varnished with many layers for a lovely deep sheen.
