He's beautiful! I would keep him and tell the customer that I was not able to create what he wanted
Hi all, I would really appreciate if anyone could recognize what manufacturer are these bears from. They should be from 20's or 30's. Do they have any value? Their mohair is not in a good condition...
Thanks,
Iva
Beth, what a great idea! I would love to "hear" critic opinions on my bears because there is no bear artist in our country and I've never seen someone else's artist bear in reality (maybe unbelievable but true).
Anyway, a good idea BUT would anyone be really honest? I mean all you guys here are so nice and don"t want to hurt anyone or so... But I would certainly survive a constructive critic (or at least I hope so )...

Thanks It's a girl actually but I know it's hard to tell as she has no earrings or pink on her
Hi all, after a long break from TT (I made my first post-delivery bear 3 days ago) I found this topic and I just have to try it! I've sent my details a few minutes ago...
Here is the reason of my drop-out, 4 months old today :photo: :

I'll give it a try:

Good evening,
I was not able to find the size of your bear. And unfortunately I don't have PP (PayPal??), is money transfer through any other system acceptable for you, in case I win the auction?
I'm located in Moscow.
And will you issue a Birth certificate for the bear?

Iva
Thanks to all
Yes, Marlys, it's an identification. There was an affair in our country about a year ago -- they switched two babies in a hospital and the parents found out after nearly a year (and they switched the babies back!). So now they have three ways of identification -- number on one hand, wristlet with name on the other hand and a name written on a leg.
Hi all,
our daughter Klara was born 9th July, 9 days late, her weight was 3270g (7lb 3oz).
Congratulations to other TT mums!

I have the same problem...
Hi, I think it won't. Because it's a dye that functions only on protein based fibre and cotton (the backing) is not a protein based fibre.
Iva
And yes, Cat, it's definitely also because it's my first pregnancy and I'm only 21!
Well, the skin on my bump is nice but I can't say the same about the boobs... There are violet/red veins and striae all over them. Maybe that's because I had quite small boobs before my pregnancy and they've grown a lot (I had to buy a new bra every month until it stopped!) and the skin was not able to cope... But the bump is quite small (compared to others I've seen) and grows slowly. And my hubby massages both areas with a special massage oil every other day so maybe that helped.

Hi ladies, you look great! My bump is here:
The pics were taken yesterday by my friend who "used" me as a model for some work for a photography course she is taking.
Iva
Hi ladies, how are your bumps? Mine is OK, 28 weeks now and I've already gained 9 kilo! I have another scan pic (or two
):
I still didn't manage to get a pic of the bump but it's quite visible now (I was even offered a seat in on bus/tram twice! ).

I'm not really happy of being a pioneer because I don't have anyone to talk about bears etc. here (only my husband ), I have to buy everything on the internet and the worst thing is that I've never seen some other's artist bear in real. So I don't have any idea on what to improve in my bears, how good they are etc.
Well at least I made some progress -- my bunny sold today on eBay, my first one ever sold! The price was quite low but never mind...
Iva
Sue, there is only one more here, she is called Magda and I think she is a member of TT, but she is not very active now I think. And that's all... I would love to start a show or something here but I would be the only person entered
Iva
Hi all, as a novice bear maker in a country with no bear-making tradition I know nothing about bear awards, competitions etc. So:
1) The bear awards - are they connected with shows somehow? Are the bears judged physically or only from photos? Which competitions are judged by artists etc. and which ones by ordinary people? Which of the competitions are international (so that I can participate)?
2) Do the competitions have their web sites (I didn't find many...) or do they advertise only in magazines? Could you recommend me some?
Thanks
Iva
Cat, I google them too
My due date is still the same (from the 12th week) -- 30th June.
When did you start to feel the baby moving? I felt it first in 17th week which is quite early but the doctor said that this doesn't mean that the baby is older (because her size doesn't seem so) but it is maybe because I'm a bit skinny

I had a similar problem -- they didn't sent me anything until I wrote several e-mails... It's OK now.
