Edie,
PLEASE don't give up on us! As an owner of one of your fine creations (Sleepyhead), I think that your work is sooo unique and easily recognizable as yours. Your craftsmanship is just remarkable!
Well Ladies & Gents,
Thanks for all your words of wisdom and wishes of luck. Unfortunately luck stopped at the neighbour's house for a break and never quite made it to THIS house. SO the Search Continues...We went for a walk through of the house today. Let's just say, whoever owned the house before, who started the renovating, didn't have the slightest clue what the heck they were doing. The main floor had been worked on, but done by the bank and done very shoddy...new ceramic floor already broken into pieces...Holes in the walls where there shouldn't be holes, water damaged in one room, a door to the outside was blocked and covered up. Just an all in all mess!!! SOOOO Disappointing....So the search goes on I'm afraid.
So I am SLIGHTLY excited!
I am finally going to have a tour of a house that I have been interested in for a while. I am going to see it with my parents tomorrow afternoon. If everything falls into plan and there are no issues, I'll be moving out of my parents house into my very first place. It's an older farm house in the middle of town, it's 80 years old, but has recently been renovated and has three bedrooms and a pool! Note to forget a HUGE lot, so I will also FINALLY be able to go get a puppy from the Humane Society! I love it when pieces of life start to fall into place. For a while there, I wasn't sure if they ever would! WOO-HOO!!!
Wish Me Luck,
Awwwww....Lisa, say it ain't so!!! Your creations are just marvelous and I hate the fact that the world will be void of your fabulous, quirky creations! I hope that maybe taking a break will re-inspire you and maybe you will be back at it eventually???? We will all miss you and I hope you do stop by and say hi here when you can...
Take Care,
Jeremy

Hey Tami,
I have a blue and red Crown Tail male Betta. I have always loved these fish as they are so colourful and graceful in the water. I don't know much about them other than I clean his tank every week, change the foliage occasionally to give him something to look at and they eat very little food.
Here Is a pic of Spike,
Sorry I couldn't be of more help...

Hey Shel,
I went to Europe in the winter of 2000 and we had a blast! I'm sure your kids will LOVE it. In Munich, make sure you visit Frauenkirche or Church of Our Lady. As legend has it, there is a footprint at the front of the church that was pound into the floor by the devil himself. You can also walk to the top of the church tower and get amazing views of the city. For great food, beer and entertainment as well as a taste of local culture, make sure to visit Hofbrauhaus Munchen. Also, make sure to check out the New Town Hall in the Marienplatz at 11 am, 12 pm or 5 pm as when the clock hits those certain hours, life size figures dance about to music. Just outside of Munich we stayed in Sachsenkam at Gasthof Altwirt, a quaint traditional bavarian style inn surrounded by beautiful scenery. Another nice attraction and relatively close is the Kisslinger Kristall-Glas factory and showroom that is located in Austria near the German/Austrian border. They take you through the whole process of how they make their crystal products from start to finish and in the showroom you can purchase an item and they will engrave it for you while you watch. We also spent a day at Dachau and I will warn you in advance to bring along a box of tissues. It was a very somber, emotionally filled day. Walking through the museum/administration building, the images and artifacts are very moving. Touring the grounds and seeing the framework for the buildings and knowing the atrocities that had taken place REALLY stuck with me and I think it is that day I remember the most out of the whole time spent in Europe. I don't know if you are planning on travelling across Italy or if you are staying only in Florence, but we stayed in Stresa, located on Lago Maggiore at the Hotel La Palma and the scenery, buildings and day trips by boat to an island in the middle of the lake where there are various shops and handmade goods/markets was one of the highlights of the trip. The view from the hotel is AMAZING and each room is gorgeous. Hope I could help and hope you have tons of fun!

Christine,
What is the address to your hubby's etsy store, I'd like to take a look at the prints...
Thanks,
It's soooo cool to hear everyone's background regarding their names. Mine (obviously) comes from my last name which is Newell. I thought that it was an approprate name as all my friends and co-worker's have always called me Newelley, and I have heard from too many people to mention that I remind them of a big teddy bear....LoL. So I thought "hey, Newelley.Bears would be a perfect name!" and it has stuck ever since.
Jer
I just wanted to wish my fave group of teddy-making mums in the world a VERY Happy Mother's Day! Your kids are lucky to have such kind, caring and wonderful women as their mother's! I hope you all have a wonderful day. Remember, it's YOUR day, so take it easy and let the men do the dirty work today...You all deserve it!
Bear Hugs,
Jeremy

Don't give up just yet Roxanne!!! Your bears are all amazing. It's just that sales in general for "luxury items" seem to be low right now due to the economy, but I'm sure they will pick back up eventually. Hang In There, We're Here For Ya!!!
Bear Hugs,
Check out this adorable video of the world's cutest seal pup!!!!
