Thankyou Jane! The pictures are great! It's almost like being there. I've been in the industry for over 20 years, and I'm always amazed at how much variety of talent there is out there. Everyone has a different take on what the perfect teddy bear should look like...and they're all right! Thankyou for bringing the show to us!
He looks so sweet!
Sooo cute!
What a beautiful dog! You must be sooo excited! I hope he works out for you!
I never reacted to storms as if they were anything to be worried about. When a storm comes in, my dog looks at me for guidance, I just say it's nothing to worry about and he doesn't worry! My previous dogs were the same after a bit of training. I'm sure that every dog is different and some will be terrified very easily from any loud noises. I do find in many cases that dogs respond to the owners reaction to outside changes. If the owner is scared, the dog likely will be too. It's not rocket science though!
  Yaaaay! Congratulations on this next step!
That must have been very frightening! We had a storm like that in Niagara-on-the-Lake several years ago, including a tornado...it stayed mostly in the country area so no homes were badly damaged, just some greenhouses, and crops. Most of the peach crop was lost that year(big losses). There were several car dealerships that had some bad damage on cars, you can imagine that size of hail hitting a car, the cars looked like they had a disease like smallpocks! Lots of repairs needed!
I'm glad your safe
That's gotta be the cutest little piggie I've ever seen!
I live in Ontario, and I've never been to Montreal. It would be about a 7 hour drive for me. I hear it is a beautiful city, rich with history. I hear there are loads of great places to eat, and lots of sightseeing/ photo opportunities, museums, art galleries, etc. In October you can expect the days to be nice, but the nights will be cold. I don't think you will find any bonfires in the city though!
You will most certainly get around much easier if you can speak some french. Most Quebecers can speak some english, but they prefer to speak french.
I'm sure you will find lots to do. You may find a week isn't long enough!
A great big thankyou Sarah! Anyone who's battled cancer can really appreciate your efforts!
I'm sorry you have experienced this violence so close to home. I do so agree with prayer! There is no easy answer to the escalating violence in schools and everywhere else! If you live in fear, you can get to the point where you won't go anywhere, but you can experience violence at home too. The major problem with many of our youth is they have no hope for the future but they are passionate about the present. So many of us are single moms trying to raise our kids right, with little or no input from the dads. Dads used to be the first image of authority in a childs life. No more dads, no more authority, no more respect. It's a sad reality in our 'modern' society.
We have gangs and violence in our area too. I pray for my kids every day, I pray the protection of God over them. I teach them and show them love. I send them off to school trusting God to protect them. 'Train up a child in the way they should go, and when they are old they will not depart from it' Proverbs 22:6
My son got involved with gangs a few years ago...it was really hard. I had to learn to listen and walk out the love I had been teaching him! I can say it works! He went through some really tough spots, including jail, but love has won out! He has turned his life around and he loves his mom so much now He didn't have his dad growing up, and he felt ripped off and angry. Drugs, alcohol and violence are the way these kids try to cover the loneliness, hurts and fears.
The only way this problem in our society will be solved is to instill strong moral values in our children while they are young. We can still win over many of the older kids with hope and love, but it's much harder. We also need to see the authority figures in our society living morally right lives. It's a big job!
I heard about this on the weather network (haven't listened to the news in a few days) That's crazy! It's been wet enough, hasn't it? How did this fire start? I'm glad you are ok, but what a terrible thing for the people that lost their homes! Thanks for sharing the pictures.
Congratulations! Well deserved!
 congrats! He's great!
I'm with Shane on that one! That must really be frustrating to have that much snow now! At least you know it won't last long!!! I'm looking forward to warmer weather.
That sure hit the spot! So sensitive and so true...must have been written by a mother! It reminds me again of the importace of telling all of my family how much I love and appreciate them
Thankyou!

SIGN IN A PHILADELPHIA STORE WINDOW
"WE WOULD RATHER
DO BUSINESS WITH
1000 AL QAEDA TERRORISTS
THAN WITH ONE SINGLE AMERICAN SOLDIER!"
This sign was prominently displayed in the window of a business in Philadelphia . You are probably outraged at the thought of such an inflammatory statement!!
However, we are a society which holds Freedom of Speech as perhaps our greatest liberty.
And after all, it is just a sign.
You may ask what kind of business would dare post such a sign..................
Answer: A Funeral Home
(Who said morticians have no sense of humor?)
You gotta love it!!!
God Bless America
I thought this was too good not to share!
What a pretty photo...I love cardinals, we see them year round here!
Your whippets are beautiful! We had a whippet when I was a kid, my uncle bred them and gave us one. What a wonderful dog he was. I'm glad you found the reason for your dogs illness. I'm real careful with what I give my standard poodle. He gets a raw, free range food that's made close to home, and a wholesome kibble with organic ingredients. Nothing from China!
