Teddy Talk: Creating, Collecting, Connecting

Hi everybody,

please join in the final voting for the "Advanced" category with 9 bears, which are really sweet.
It would be great to receive more voting from other countries, though it should be difficult for you
to choose your three favourites. Just have a look yourself.

Next Saturday we'll start the "Miniature bears" category.

Oh she's really sweet. Her eyes seem to say "Please protect me"

This is my little Flake, entirely made from wonderful, white Alpaca and
filled with fiberfill and some granules. He stands about 8" tall, has glass
eyes, an embroidered nose and got his arms wired. And he's fully jointed.
Pattern by German teddybear artist Hildegard Leber.

I never used Alpaca before and I think it's really lovely and easy to work with.
It's also my first bear with arms wired.

Hi Jane, which bear is it?  I'm not curious, I'd just like to know   

By the way, the prelimitary voting for the Advanced bears will end next Saturday. You may still join in the voting!
After a break there will be the final voting for the Advanced category from 17th to 24th of May.

it is now the 3rd year that our competition takes place in our German teddybear online magazine
www.KuscheltierNews.info

Altogether we've got 47 participants mainly from Germany, Switzerland and Austria, who take part
in the categories beginners, advanced and miniature bears.
The voting started today in the category Beginners (this voting ends next Saturday, then the voting for the advanced will follow).

There's now an English-language version of our German magazine which is

It started only about two days ago.

The details of the competition are available in English.
So you may have a look at the beginner bears and learn more about the competition.
It is planned that our competition will be open for everyone next year.
