Teddy Talk: Creating, Collecting, Connecting

I hope to have the chance to take some photos at this fair and I will join them wit the big TT-Family - so cross your fingers, that some of the artists allow me to take some photos.

What a great work - this must be fantastic to work such a wonderful thing. did you do it for a special event???? Maybe for a theater or something like this???? Marvelous - really fantastic!!!!

Oh that's great - I'm looking forward to meet you there  :hug: - and I hope we can talk in our language, it's quite difficult sometimes to express myself in english ........... but I keep on learning 

They are really lovely - and of course they also need some toy to play with ............. 
Just sitting and waiting for a hug is sometimes pretty boring  ........... and listen ............ they are chatting ................ :dance:  ............. I can't understand what they are talking about .............. hihii

Hello dear TT-friends - I would love to ask all of you, who are near Wiesbaden, the bear-city in Germany, who of all you wonderful bear-artists will participate at this fair????? 

For me it will be the first time to be a part in such a big fair  :dance: - there will be abot 300 artists  - and as you can imagine, I'm very excited and so are my bears.    

I would be very happy to meet some of you there at the fair - so please let me know, who will be there too?????   :clap:

Dear Lynette - all your words are so true, and getting older I realized that I have to live my life, but not the others ....... I have to change my life and I have to look more after myself .......... your words make me think over again and in every row I find so many useful things. I lived my life much to long for people they are nearby - but I've got no thanks from all of them, therefore I will change and will from now on live for me and myself and of course for my wonderful family.
Thank you for this wonderful story!!!! - I will now have a good cup of coffee - sitting down and thinking over ..........

This is a new little bear named Barkley and I made it out of a very soft curled Schulte-Mohair with light ground and dark tipps, he's about 11 inch tall and has got a funny bell-collar - hope you like this little guy

and hope to see some of you in Wiesbaden next month!!!!       

Some time ago I had an italian Lady, who bought some bears from me, but from the very beginning first bear, she always wanted to have a better price ...... as I'm unfortunatly somebody who cannot say no, I sometimes made a better price or left the shipping-costs for mine ........ but I've learned, and I'm sure, I will never reduce my prices anymore ......... if my work isn't worth what I want to have for it, than the collector has to find himself another object. I'm on my way learning to say NO - but it is very hard!!!!!

Hello dear TT-family members - as you know, I'm Austrian and quite new here on TT - more than that I'm not so good in english but I will learn. 

Well the point is - watching so many posts here on TT, I often find that you Ladies have a "etsy-shop". Beeing an artist here in Austria is quite tough, in the last time - also because of the financial crisis (I think!) - my bears won't find a new home. Therefore I would like to find a new way of showing them to the worlds bear collectors, and I thought, that "etsy" maybe would be a way to make it better.

But sorry - maybe I'm a bit silly - but I can't get it - so please can anybody help me - what is Etsy, how does it works, what do I have to do, what are the costs for Etsy, is it similar to Ebay????? Questions and questions - so please be kind to give me some tiny answers - I would be happy.
