After Paula prompting me, I thought I would share a couple of my bears with you all.

Sorry it has taken me so long........ I'm a bit shy really......and I also have to rely on my
sons "internet know how"

Anyway let me introduce you to Rafferty on the right, a 17ins bear
made from a very dense Alpaca/Mohair mix, and his friend Pippin 12ins, made in a biscuit coloured
Alpaca.

I'm taking both of these bears to Hugglets .......so hopefully they will find new homes.

Hope you like them!

Paula.......I've crept up to your stand on many occassions at Hugglets, and admired your wonderful bears,

but , hopefully this time I'll pop along and introduce myself, as I feel I know you now!!!..........love them all

but I think Tin Tin is my favorite!!

Clare.......Its all a bit confusing at the moment, since they merged with Teddy Bear Times.....but I think it is still a

monthly (I've got June and July isssues).......but seems to come out at the very end of the month running in to the

next...so I think next issue should be around soon now!

Thanks everyone........I'm really enjoying reading all your wonderful comments....good to know I am not alone
in my feelings on this subject!

One overwhelming  thing that is coming through from your feedback, is that we are all unanimous in that we absolutely love what we do, we are creative artistic people, with a passion for teddy bear art in all its forms!! :clap:

So I think I am going to lighten up, accept that, folk may be bewildered by what I do......get those cards in my handbag (thanks Chloe).... and state with great pride..YES!...I am a Teddy Bear Artist !!!!!!!!

Just wondering.......what do you call yourselves....when asked the question..."And what do you do for a living"
In my experience to date, it seem to cause much confusion!!

When first asked this question at a social gathering, I replied in my wisdom, "oh I'm a bear artist"..........shock,
horror, spread across this persons face.....obviously having lurid visions of myself, in a state of undress!!!  :crackup:

So next time I changed tactics, and played safe, and replied....."I'm a bearmaker"....to which came an influx
of questions......eg. which factory do you work in?..and...do you all sit at a conveyer belt?  :doh:

In a recent conversation with a friend who I had not seen for a while.......I replied.."oh I'm a teddy bear artist,
I design and make teddy bears,....to which she just smirked,....and said....really...you make fluffy teddies!!!  :redface:

So I would be really interested to know girls, when posed with this question, what do you say?......and what
responses do you get?
