I go to see my mum and dad and I get to see my brother too. Its then home for 9.30, open the wine and order a curry later. Bliss! I was supposed to have gone a works meeting last night but told a lie
sometimes you just don't need the hassle on a Friday evening.
Now its Saturday and hopefully I get to go Hobbycraft to get some marker pens and other bits and pieces. I also had a lovely pressie off Kim Bonsall in the post, some fabric which has set my day onto a good thing.
What a cutey. I love pigs and she is sooo cute!
I'm a monkey for premarking holes, finding they are not right, moving the limbs, but not changing my pattern!
I love the eyes and the colours. Really sweet. Have you ordered any of the new frosted yet? I can't wait to try it. Kate is mega cute!
My uncle is Clive Owen. Clive Norman Owen of Stoke-on-Trent. Still he was very good looking in his younger days.
I'd seen a photo of you before, when you were with GEORGE!
Go on Heather. I had a hell of a time at school as I had red hair, glasses, spots and was overweight, hence the photo phobia. I'm 38 this year, I don't know if thats young or not. Maybe the bears I made and my avatar set the picture for my age. This is good fun! Smile and say 'cheese'
Now is'nt that good, but weird? I finally put a photo on. Stuck my arm out and turned the camera around. Hardly proffessional but it does the job. Does any one else have a different impression on what they thought we would all look like. I had an idea about Penny but thought Clare Davis would be fair haired for some reason. I suppose 'Amanda' could of made me sound/look different (I'm a Mandy to lots of people) and you get a look by the name. What about you?
Not as bad as the user photo I have just taken and posted!
Jane you are the push I needed. I HATE having my photo taken, always have done. Anyways I have just taken one myself, so there you go.!
Just clowning around!
I've changed me mind! She stays up late at night, reads my mind and talks about 'clowns' in a mysterious way. I think shes 'not of this world'.
And she said she ate a Chinese last night. I think thats called cannibalism!
What lovely colours Deb. You have tempted me to try, now to ebay to find it!
 We have all been on planes with passengers who feel they 'are a cut above', very funny!
Now you are spooking me out. I ordered a clown nose last week to do a mini bear and started yesterday. I sent a private message to Penny this morning and was on about the clown bear and I said 'You either love em or hate em'. Then I see this thread for the first time. Penny posted last night! I'm going to have to keep an eye on this clown bear.
Well as you can see I got a pressie! I had noticed the lovely avatars popping up and then my email lit up. Yep Penny had done one for me. Yippee! Penny you are a true friend. Thanks so much.
If you go on your ebay account and go to the HELP tab at the top and type in retracting bids it tells how they can go about it. There are rules and regs like, not when there is less than 12 hours left and other things but I'd leave him to it. You should have plenty of other bids and you wrote the right thing.
He might have just changed his mind but I think you wrote the right thing. How they go about it I don't know but I would keep out of it if you can. I'll go have a look on ebay and see if I can find anything. Good luck!
Thats some small needlefelting, it looks way bigger. I bet your own fingers have got holes in them. Well done!
I use the beading thread too. I might try the invisable thread again but found it very hard before.
I use pipe cleaners too, bending the ends in. The other thing I have just bought is tiny magnets so that is another option in the end of the arms to get that cuddle grip!
Well you could say I'm a non-bear-collector-artist? I don't collect bears, apart from my wonderful swaps. I just love the making side. It would be lovely like Judi says to hear from all areas of the bear world.
I did them years ago on my more realistic bears. I made them then stitched them in like a tush tag. They do look kind of cute. On my mini red panda and raccoon I sewed them in when I was ladder stitching up. Good fun!
Crickey it gets better. Well done to everyone!
I was only after the post about lining stretchy fabrics way to heavy for me on a Saturday morning but all I say is 'each to his/her own'. The last I heard the goverment had not passed any laws on using glue on bears. Do what you feel comfortable with. Now wheres that post?
