Hey Jodi.  You deserved a nap after cleaning all those bathrooms.

We're buying daughter, Paige, a laptop (not a Christmas gift, hubby says).  She is starting Sacramento State Univ.  as a junior next month.  Other than that, plane tickets to Nashville for the three of us.

I used to go all out wrapping, but last year I used the Christmas gift bags from the year before.  Bad, I know.

Yes, dinner was delish.  Spaghetti.  Oh I think I'm getting a cold too.  Earache, sore throat.  Ugh. 

Michelle, that toffee looks soooooooo good.  I love toffee.  You don't have See's Candy in the east, but they have the best peanut brittle.  My daughter always wants me to bring See's chocolates to Tennessee when I come visit.  They don't have it there either.

OK hello, I'm back.  Dinner is done, dishes are done.

I'm off for now to finish dinner.  Spaghetti sauce is just right and hubby will be home in 2 minutes.  See you later.  It's been fun.

Celena,  we have a Christmas tree, gifts, listen to (and sing) Christmas music.  Christmas eve we go to midnight candle light service.  Special Christmas program at church.  Family will be here.  Christmas day brunch for us this year.  Christmas eve gathering at my brother's home.

It's so wierd to hear you say it's so hot at Christmas time.  I've never been to Australia, I guess your weather is upside down from ours?  Does it ever get cold?

Yes, Lyn.  All kinds of fish.  Prawns, calamari, catfish, scallops.  Whatever they can get their hands on, I guess.

Oh we only do the carton egg nog.  I try to find the low fat stuff.  I just add a little rum and grate some nutmeg on top.  It's really good in your coffee too.  I just got a recipe for an egg nog cheesecake.  Yumm.  I'll try that for Christmas eve.
