Such a sweet teddy! Adorable chubby tummy!
Thanks so much for your comments, Ali and Joanne. They are REALLY appreciated.
First bear of the New Year and returning to my favourite ...polar bears! He is a hefty little chap, measuring 18 to 19 inches tall and with a fairly big tummy. He is made from a gorgeous, soft German alpaca/mohair mix. I have used a new head pattern for him. I wanted to widen the muzzle area on my realistic bears. I have called him Magic because when I first sewed and stuffed his head I thought he was the ugliest bear I had ever seen, but once I had given him eyes and a nose he was magically transformed into a bit of a hunk! He is looking for a loving home on Bearpile.

Hi Peter
It looks like Tramp has settled in already! I love the photos of him and Bashful together. It's great to know he and Bashful have gone to such a great home!

This is my last little bear of 2009. He is a 12 inch little cub in a lovely taupe wavy Schulte mohair. He is looking for a loving home on Bearpile.

Thank you all. I want to live in Becky's arctophile-ocracy!
Merry Christmas Paula
I went into Maidstone yesterday to visit my son (he lives near Notcutts) and I couldn't believe how bad the snow still was. I parked opposite his house. A while later there was an almighty bang as a car slid into a car two down from mine. All of our snow in Ashfors disappeared overnight...thank goodness.
All the best
Sue
Hi Alison

Merry Christmas, Maria
So glad your bear turned up. Royal Mail lost a bear of mine in the summer. I found the whole experience quite distressing and was very upset for my collector.

Merry Christmas, Lesley
I hope the extreme weather doesn't spoil your Christmas. The last of the snow here in Ashford, Kent disappeared overnight.

We are finally clear of snow and ice today! Such an adorable Cavalier! I have two Maltese, a Westie and Yorkie...so I know that facial expression well!
