I got an email from ebay today with some new changes.....Am I reading it right???? As a seller we are NO longer able to accept money orders or cheques on Ebay? Shouldn't that be my choice and the buyer's??
Maybe I didn't read it right? Anyone else get this same email?

Nice to know I'm not the only one..

I almost took out an eye with my pliers trying to turn a cotter pin...bought myself a pair of safety glasses...haven't worn them once...heehee...

Dropped a needle while sewing....my catching instincts took over and before I knew it I caught my needle in my leg....OUCH! ....At least I saved it from falling on the floor!! 

And my personal favorite is when I sew a piece of fabric to my finger.....it's a good thing I'm not a bleeder!!

I've recently had a charge on my visa which I never okay'd by google...now I have to go through the dispute thing and I got myself a new credit card....pain in the butt!

How do I go about turning the Off button?? Did you do that for paypal or ebay?? I don't want to take any more chances!

OMG!!! I think maybe that's what my dog is mixed with...heehee....we got her @ the SPCA and she's part german shepard mixed with something...I think this might be it!! I will upload a pic as soon as I am home! I'd love to hear what you think!

Since I make mostly minis I place my bears in those tiny decorative tins. Some may have had a candle in them,which I remove or they had chocolate in it which I will remove  :crackup:  I find them at thrift stores, you can get very cute ones and for very cheap. I have ones with designs for Christmas, Easter, Halloween etc. Or just some plain fun ones. I wrap the bear with a wee bit of tissue (cause not much fits in the little tin) just enough so the bear isn't moving around inside and will stay nice and warm on their journey   The tins are nice and firm so I don't worry about it getting squished or damaged by water. Then I wrap the tin itself in bubble wrap..which had been reused but free of any left over tape...I'm not sure how I would mail off a bigger bear????? I did it once a long time ago and I don't remember what I did..

I was a little disappointed that you could only have the one pic but I wasn't going to complain to loudly considering it's free    I didn't use any html just the photos I have, nothing fancy....Me and html don't get along!!!

It's pretty neat and very easy to do. Don't know if I'll ever sell anything but it's free so it's worth a go!!

A very cool tool has been added to the free webs site. They now have a web store. Thought I'd mention it in case someone else uses free webs. I think there are a few of us.... I started one. I'm going to post some bears and I'm also selling some of my mother's miniatures that she makes. You never know.....plus it's FREE!!!!

Brenda what are the "Mini Shows" on people's blogs. I have never heard or seen one. I am very curious!!! I am looking for other options to sell other than ebay. I'll probably still use ebay but I would love to try other methods of selling. I've started a website but I prefer my blog(I have lots more fun on there)   but I'm not to sure how to go about selling on my blog. Unfortunately we don't have a lot of shows in Edmonton.. we have two shows and they are held on the same day and not in the same venue....and nobody from either show wants to  change..it's very sad....and I don't think the Calgary show is going to happen either.

If you see another mini show, could you let me know so I can take a look!

I would really like to do the show but time is ticking and I don't know if I can now or if I'll even be here. But we all need to have a date...so we can plan all our good stuff! And save money to buy more stuff....heehee..

Sorry Heather!!! :hug:   I don't mean to be pushy... :redface: But I need to get a general idea as to when the show will be. I'm also doing another bear show this year in September. I need to know if I have to start sewing double the bears....and quit selling the bears I have now...LOL!!!

Well, I'm in support of the boycott! I think the changes they are making are horrible. It will effect everyone. I don't sell on ebay as much as I did but with these changes I don't think I want to any more.
