Chocolate? Did anybody mention CHOCOLATE????
In my life I´ve over eaten on a lot of things, unfortunately never on chocci
One I love is CADBURY FLAKE and googling the net to post a picture here, to make y´all really drooooling , I found out, that Cadbury now produces it dipped and as pralines and I´m so far away from it * close to fainting*
Quote from Cadbury´s site: In October 2004 the Cadbury Flake Praline was the latest addition to the "Flake Family" - the crumbliest, flakiest milk chocolate, nestled in a rich hazelnut praline -ideal for those more indulgent moments. unquote
SHANTELL & LISA, I´d love to share a Nutella recipe I once created for my mom´s birthday:
What you need: -soft ice cream, either selfmade or you leave it outside the freezer for a while
- Nutella
- melted chocolate
-pan
- somebody who keeps the fingers away from everybody who comes along and wants to try
It´s easy: you layer the ice cream and a thin layer of melted chocci and icecream and Nutella and icecream and melted chocci on top into the pan and put it into the freezer.
After taking it back out you cut it in serving and place it on plates and your loved ones will love you forever and a day

Kim,
I´d say, every one is very brave to tell us their embarrassing stories!
I love your story!
......or as you would say in french : Je suis ton histoire! ( or is it "ta histoire"?) *giggle*
I know, french can be so much fun , what we learn at school is far from what we can use afterwards in real life.
Unfortuately I cannot tell you anything embarrassing; not that I never did anything embarrassing, but I am so forgetful...guess, that´s the embarrassing thing about me.
Gaby
Golli gosh! I guess somebody mixed up the keys on my key board!
SORRY!!!
...I did deffinitely not do any pre-easter-drinking-orgy
Gaby
Jane,
thank you for your easter wishes - a smashing easter with loads of colourful easter eggs for you and your love ones!
And for all the lovely teddy addicts:
Eater hugs and easter bugs *giggle*
Gaby
Brenda, thank you.
To read this from somebody who makes such beautiful teddies and bunnies make me a wee bit proud!
Gaby
I don´t believe it!
I made a bunny!
...and just in time BEFORE easter... and now I´ll ty to post it here...
My favorite though is Brenda´s- it´s as if I knew him for years
Gaby
Tami,
thanx for sharing these sweet teddies they look so cuddly!
Since 3 years our zoo has 2 pandas, but actually I have to admit: they are a wee bit disappointing ;)
They are hard to find in their enormous environment, especially since they hardly ever move ( apart from moving their jaws because they eat 27 hours per day) they are hardly ever black and white, but rather muddy and black ;)) but I once cought one of them on a picture, which I can post, if you´d like to see it.
But nevertheless: they are very attracting because they looks so adorably cute....
Gaby
Melissa, I know that this was probably not the last time, your area was hit by bad weathers, unfortunately. But I sure hope that you´ll get off lightly everytime.
The weather is running postal, it looks, all over the world, so one can only hope and pray.
I wish you and your loved ones all the best
Gaby
Jacqui, I know your feeling of guiltyness, but we have to accept, that we cannot change the world so your decission to support one charity is logically right.
If I remember correctly, beary cheap has a link to the sad animalasia site; I donated to them directly throught that before I found out that beary cheap collects money as well.
One more thing: Moon Beam Bears are not only cute, even the name sounds so cute!
Best regards
Gaby
Vicky, it is sooo cute!
I haven´t made a bunny yet but I´m going to try within the next few days.
Aleta, so sweet wee chicks!
You ladies are all so artistic and skilful, just great!
Gaby
Thanx Ginger for sharing these pictures with us!
I have to admit: this is my first glimpse into a teddy bear show room and I like it...
good luck
Gaby
Sheila, well, unfortunately my experience in selling teddies is limited to 2 teddies I sold to somebody who knows somebody who knows my mom
I´m sending you a virtual handkerchief, because I don´t want you to be sad about something that you didn´t cause yourself.
I understand your point so well: I´ve been browsing ebay and I don´t understand it. Basta. I´m a gifted buyer on ebay but selling ( whatever) hasn´t worked so far.
It puzzles me, how really sweet and lovely and beautiful bears don´t sell whilst one really gorgeous plush dog, beautifully offered on ebay wins $ 6.100,- *getting dizzy in the head* ( I can get a car for that prize)
Your bears are sweet and lovely and beautiful and gorgeous, so there´s nothing wrong with them.
The lady who sold this incredible dog is a well known artist; people obviously just long for her wonderful creations.
So one needs to have a name in the teddy business, as it is with every business. I guess.
In my humble opinion ebay is not the suitable medium to sell your teddies for what they are worth, unless of course, you´re well-known in the collectors world.
What I think, that could improve your business could be to finalize your homepage and make it look like one where the viewer knows, that he can buy teddies.
I think, the internet is an incredibly good medium to sell anything to anybody in the whole wide world...and maybe even beyond , it made the world a much smaller place and gave me the chance, to participate here.
I wish your teds, that they find the owners they deserve and I wish you good luck in finding these new owners.
Gaby
Hi Penny,no, unfortunately we haven´t met yet, even though chances were good, since I used to travel to Herts a lot nic to meet you!
Sure I waltz, or rather: I´d love to but men here in Vienna are such lousy dancers or just plain lazzzzy buggers.
Psssst, don´t tell anybody: me myself, I´m rather the sitting-in-a-café-and-having-a-chocci cake-type
Pats, yeah the Tirol is just wonderful- the mountains show us, how small we really are and I love the tirolean dialect. Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Karen, nice to meet you! Vienna & Salzburg are still waiting for you . It´s not really that far.... I´ve been to TX once but pssst: I nee to admit I was a wee bit disappointed: I didn´t see one single cowboy in Fort Worth the whole week I was there!
Shelli, I must tell you this now: you did a marvelous job to motivate people to do things they usually wouldn´t. Maybe because they are scared that they ruin something in the PC or maybe because they have no clue.
But: we can do it!
Have a smashing day y´all!
Gaby
Thanks Patsy for your welcome- I realised how many australian teddy moms are in this forum. You would be amazed, how many times Austria is confused with Australia! That´s why I always add: ....I´m from Austria, we don´t have any kangaroos here
Have fun
Gaby
Hi Sue Ann, thank you for your kind welcome Yes, that´s my homepage, I am sorry, it´s still under constuction and of course I´d like to show you my bears, even though they are far from what you did. I´ve seen your Avalon on intercaltg already some time ago, he´s adorable as are all your other furry friends. But I guess I should post them somewhere else, and just found the page for new members. I´m gonna ask my boyfriend to put some on the web and then post it under my posting which stars with "servus".
Oh, by the way, I mad another avatar...
Have fun y´all
Gaby
Hi Aleta, cheers for your hearty welcome!
I visited the Silly Bear site and I lurrrrve it and your bears! Sometimes we all need to be Bobs even though I´m rather the Blues Clues person, because I have none... clue that is *giggle*
Hi Lynette, thanx to you, too for your warm welcome, I´ve been visiting your wonderful Fred-i-bears once, when browsing through the teddy cyber space. And: I´m with you with your motto
Well, finally I found Shelli´s help to post the pix
This is my first avatar showing Butterscotch
...and my second with Torsti
I just couldn´t stop- Norma Jean
And now an extra terrestrial avatar- my boyfriend, who I axed zillions of questions during the process of making these avatars got cought by the virus, too being busy with work he just couldn´t help but make one too
Have a smashing weekend y´all!
Gaby
A smashing hello from Vienna to the teddy bear lovers in here
somehow I stumbled into this forum last night, because I´m so nosey.
I´d like to grab the opportunity by the horn and introduce myself: I´m 44, viennese and caught the teddy bear virus.
The challenge Shelli placed in here sounded tempting- neither have I made an avatar before, nor do I have a clue about computers..
Shelli, you sure know how to motivate people!!! I sat here on my pc until 3:30 am and really ended up with my first avatar. I had a tight Friday program concerning, cleaning, shopping etc., guess I´m gonna do that tomorrow...or so;)
For those in here who think, that they cannot do it –wake up Bob the builder in you! You can do it
Have fun
Gaby
PS. Now you wonder, where´s my avatar? Weeellll, I just need a wee improvement to find out how to post it here.
