Oh, I LOVE him! He reminds me of my mother's old teddybear, who I now have here with me. I love this style, and Ernst is perfect  bear_wub

I did it! I sewed my very first mini! He's 4", and called "Snö"
I've been so fascinated by the minis posted here, and I never thought I could do it myself. I know it's not perfect, but the fabric is really, really thick. It's wool fabric ment for winter coats  bear_laugh I need to get some good fabric for my next sewed project. In the meantime I should stick with needlefelting.
It was really hard placing the disc in the neck (between the shoulders), and it didnt' turn out really well.... hence the knitted scarf  bear_laugh

The pattern is from a book by Anne Meyer. I will make my own pattern soon  bear_original

Adorable! I don't know how you do these tine bears! I suppose it takes alot of time an patience. Do you sow everything by hand?

Boop

Hi again! I think it's getting better for each new try, and this time I 've made this creature, called "I'll give you my heart". It was supposed to be a bear, but he decided he wanted to be a dog from the beginning. No matter what I did, he still looks like a dog bear_laugh

He measures a little over 4 inches standing up, and he is made with norwegian wool core, and the grey fibres are nepal wool. I've bought a lot of norwegian wool, as that is most common here (surprise! bear_laugh ), but I bought this one piece of nepal wool the other day. It was kind of cheap, so I don't know if it's any good. I thought it was a bit difficult to felt, as the fibers were so short... Are nepal wool commonly used for needle felting?

I was also wondering how you joint the small needle felted teddys. I've only jointed my two bears with embroidery-thread, but I don't find it very ideal... Any suggestions for better solutions?

Oh, and thank you for looking! bear_flower

Hi again! I haven't given up yet, and this is my second attempt at creating a creature. I know it looks a bit weird, like someone punched the poor bunny on the nose... and one cheek is smaller than the other. bear_laugh But I'm learning, and that's what's important! bear_original I do think it's a lot of fun!
