Such a sweet little panda bear cub. Wonderful
Saw this beauty on eBay... Stunning work, Karen! Not a surprise, though!
Thank you all so much for taking the time to post such lovely compliments!!
Hello all! I've been absent for a little bit here on TT... school is out for the kids, plus computer problems... ahh it never ends!
I am listing Theodore, my black bear cub, on eBay. Some of you may remember him from Tarlo's auction. I had a really hard time parting with this sweet little cub when I finished him, so he stayed here with me at the studio for a while and gave me smiles and inspiration. It's still hard to part with him, but I think it's time for him to bring some joy to someone new. :)
Theodore will be listed on eBay until Friday, the 25th. If you have time, I'd love for you to take a peek at him! Thank you all so much!

Me too!! I haven't gotten to really take advantage of this sale yet! lol keeping my fingers double crossed!
Gosh, that makes me sad that this has happened. Prefurs is the only company I order my synthetic fur from and I have never had a problem with them, even in my last two most recent big orders. I've had a very faint chemical smell recently, but it has always dissipated pretty quickly. I do also know that Rodney is super helpful and so nice. I really hope this problem is resolved and there are no hard feelings. Thank you, Daphne, for providing the information for people to quickly receive a refund if necessary, and also for posting the thread originally about the sale. I wouldn't have even known about it if it wasn't for you! I hope this doesn't affect the relationship between bear makers and Prefurs; I have always been so satisfied with their business.
THey ARE adorable! I'm with Debora, if I had to pick one, it'd definitely be the little guy up front
Joanne, he is absolutely darling!! I am really loving this little guy of yours Such a sweet little face and your feet are beyond awesome!
He is SO cute!
Both of your wee bears are adorable, Eliza
Well, I know this is an older topic, but I use Magic-Sculpt. It comes in a few different colors including flesh tone and black, and can be painted VERY nicely. It is just a little tacky while mixing the two compounds together, but becomes quite nice and easy to work with within 15 to 20 minutes. It's never runny or gooey. You also have a good window of time to work with it before it starts becoming too stiff (I've never run out of time with it) and has a 24 hour cure time. Unless something more magic comes along, I wouldn't use anything else! And since it air cures, I sculpt it directly onto my bear's face.
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment and give me your input on Sequoia!
You're welcome, and thank you!
Hi Sheila I suggest thread sculpting a bit less between the eyes (don't pull it in together as tight), and a tiny bit more toward the base of the back of the head... and yes, trim the fur a little more in the 'brow' area... maybe this will help?
very cute pair Olga!
