Aw, soft, soft baby
Soooo Cute! Wish I had seen him before I started this Tiger Cub. He's much younger and has those cute baby blue eyes
Ohhh! And he has long fur
Wow, I didn't know that two different breeds of big cats could get along?
Thanks! SueAnn
They're wonderful! I'm working on a Tiger cub at the moment, and I didn't realize how the stripes actually circle the head on the sides of their faces.

Willow, is my first design for 2013. He was an experiment for me. I photographed each step of his design as I worked and posted it on my facebook page, KJ Lyons Design Page. It was very interesting. I found I felt compelled to stay on schedule so that I would have something to show interested viewers. But I didn't rush my design. I tried to be careful and thoughtful about what I was posting about the design process. All and all, a great experience
I've just finished the first part of my new design, a Bobcat kitten! Mine is a little older, he doesn't have the young kitten blue eyes. Today I finish his body.

Wonderful and unique!
Oh! He's looking right at me
Svetlana, what a wonderful Koala! She has such a special personality and such character

Love the cute tongue sticking out like he's really concentrating

All who pass this way must give a proper head rub greeting !
He's perfect! I assume you figured out how to have him stand without a doll stand? That's great! I've never felt comfortable about using a stand, even though for some pieces there is no other option.

SueAnn, love this She looks like my Louie cat with a mohair teddy bear sweater he stole. This is the face he shows to his brother trying to steal the sweater.

How cute I never knew they had spots at that age!
Wow! What a wonderful show! True works of art and drama. I could imagine a story with every piece
Two are always better than one
Not if I get there, first
Sue Ann, Peter & Gail ~ Wishing you all a HaPPy NeW YeAR!
What a SWeeT kitty. He looks like he's saying ~ I love you mom but why did you do this to me!
Thanks, Gail! That's the guy I will be working with right after Christmas Sylvie, when you load your photos does it let you choose the size? For online you only need 72 dpi. Cameras, typically, will have photos with at least 300 dpi+ You can resize these for the internet. That's dots/pixels per inch. The photo can be as large as the bobcat, it just won't be as dense/fine grained as a 300 dpi, but that doesn't matter when loading to the internet.

OK, these are the guys I create in my art studio, but I thought they would make a nice Christmas card ;-) The last smiling guy is my Cheshire Cat from the original book illustration.
Merry Christmas and I hope for a Happy New year for us all!
THank you! These guys give me inspiration. Right after Christmas I am going to design a pattern for Bobcat kittens, they look a little like these guys. My idea is to photograph each step and use the photos to launch my new Facebook page. It'll be a fun project, I hope
You're both right, I'm getting too greedy you can have those guys. The kitten photos are getting to me. Maybe we have to start some puppy photos or exotic babies? Wish Santa could bring me my ginger kitten, but it's the wrong time of year for kittens.

Joanne, so true! Most of the time I charge for USPS Priority and bounce it up to Express for the customer. It also helps that it gets there faster and there's less chance of it getting lost.
