hi paula, if it's not too late, i would like to join in too.  bear_tongue

kynthia

i'm wondering if anyone can help me?

i have recently needlefelted my first bear for a friend and she has requested to make it into a keychain if possible. So i'm trying to think of how i can attach the keychain to the bear but i cant seem to figure out how exactly to sew it so that it will will be firmly attached to the bear without dropping out?  bear_wacko

i'm thinking to sew a little hoop with some thick thread on its head so that i can attach it to the keychain but since the bear is needlefelted, i'm not sure if it will stay on.

has anyone done this before or able to offer any suggestions? Thank you!

kynthia

she's lovely!

P1090768.JPGP1090763.JPGThis is Violet, my first bear which i tried to modify the pattern. I reduced the pattern, gave her a bigger tummy & changed her arms.

Her hat is my first attempt at needlefelting which was done solely based on my imagination.

Her hat & ribbon is removable. Violet is approx 1.5inches tall sitting.

She is photographed with Peridot (the larger bear) here.

This is Little Phoebe.

She is my 3rd bear & is entirely handstitched by me. She is 9" tall and joined using plastic safety joints.

I would love to hear feedback from you.

(Pls excuse the poor quality of the photos.  I'm still trying to get the hang of it. )

kynthia

it's a general blogspot thing. I have the same prob. What i do is that i usually insert all the pics first. Then i insert the text in between the pics. that usually works better.

Oh, and you have to upload the last pic 1st as the 1st pic that you upload usually is at the bottom of your post. So you have to work backwards.. annoying system but works ok as long as you remember to upload in the 'correct' sequence.  bear_tongue
