For artists and collectors sponsored by Intercal...your mohair supplier and Johnna's Mohair Store
This is Skippy the Kangaroo. This creation won me a 1st place at this year's Royal Adelaide Show in the Decorative Toy category.
She's been needle felted with corriedale wool and has German glass eyes and mohair eyelashes. The craft flowers are removable from the pouch so another small item could be placed there instead.

Oh my gosh! I love him! He's adorable!
Just gorgeous Robin! Best of luck with the auction.
Needle Felting Magic is wonderful for beginners and can teach some points that self taught needle felters may not know already. I have both of Barbara's books and have taken tips from both that have helped with my work.
I agree with Matilda....buy your supplies from people that know what they are talking about. I will vouch for Beary Cheap though and say that their supplies are great. Barbara Allen also sells supplies from her website "Cobweb Cottage" and they are WONDERFUL.
Thanks Lenora! I usually spend anywhere from 25 - 40 hours on each creation. The giraffe....that was 40+...I lost count after that. LOL! He's much bigger than I usually make.
Very cute and I love the colours. Nice job!
Wow! This is amazing!
Stunning! The colours are just beautiful...as is the bear...as always.
Congratulations! He's just gorgeous.
I love your bears so much! Your panda is 100% gorgeous.
Thanks ladies! I appreciate you commenting.
How cute! I love the watermelon colours on her.
 WOW! He's amazing! Absolutely beautiful as are all of your creations.
I agree! Those paws are fabulous! Oakley is wonderful. Have a great time at the show.
The eyes on your bears are always so amazing! Leaf is just gorgeous.
Thank you so much for looking and commenting!
 Great idea Eva! I would never have thought of that!
If the bears head is needle felted firmly it will stay on but it might still show signs of pulling depending on how it's handled. You could tie a ribbon firmly around it's neck and use that as the anchor for the hoop....perhaps using a few stitches through the ribbon and into the bear to make sure that the ribbon won't come off so the bear isn't lost...the keychain coming from that point may not give the look you are after though.
Thank you Millie!
Oh Susan he's so gorgeous!
Wow these are lovely! You create some really stunning bears.
I'd like to introduce you to Mallee the koala! This is another of my critters that was needle felted some months ago. You might actually get to see some of my newer work in the next few weeks.
Needle felted with Corriedale wool into a static position. German glass eyes and mohair eyelashes. The rose isn't removable.
On eBay right now: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll … :MESELX:IT
Thank you so much to both of you. I started doing the eyelash thing about 2 months after I started felting and now I don't make a single critter without them.
I love your work! She's beautiful and I really like her colour too.
She is pretty! I really like the fabric you've used for her. Best of luck with selling her...particularly as it's for such a great cause.
