Yes, I got the application to work.  I also saw the doctor again on Friday, was released to return to work on a regular schedule, and do not have to return to see the doctor again about the virus.  Overall I have had the flu-like virus twice since January.  I am starting to feel well again, which is great.  Have a wonderful day, everybody.  Hugs, Gail

Hello TTers!

I got my new computer today.  It is a Toshiba laptop, like my old computer, but with a faster processor and more storage.  I didn't realize what an important part the computer plays in my life until I was without one for 10 days!

One problem, when I tried to upload Thursday's Cute Animal Pic of the Day, the TT website image uploading module didn't work for me.  I posted a message in the Technical Support section of the board describing the problem.  Hopefully, Quy will work out the problem and I will be able to continue posting the Cute Animal Pic of the Day. 

In the meantime, thanks so much to all those TTers who filled in for me while I was without a computer by posting daily Cute Animal Pics.

Just as a progress report, my old computer could not be repaired.  I had to buy a new laptop (ouch!).  I pick up the new laptop after work today.

Hello fellow and sister TTers,

You may have wondered about the sudden absence of Cute Animal Pics of the Day.  On Friday evening, I accidentally spilled liquid on the keyboard of my laptop computer.  I tried to mop it up, but some of the keys stick, and I cannot adequately keyboard on that computer at this time.  I am writing this from work on my lunch hour.   I was unable to get the computer fixed quickly because I was sick all weekend with a bad virus, and am still recuperating, although I am cleared by the doctor to work, light duty. 

I described the situation of the stuck keys on my computer to the IT specialist at work, and he said it could take up to two weeks to get the computer fixed, if the technician has to order a part sent directly from the manufacturer.  I will attempt to get the computer fixed as quickly as I can.  I miss my daily TT fix and enjoy providing pictures of cute animals to Teddy Talk.
