Hi Ed.  Ebay sure has changed over the years hasn't it?   It's too big for even them to handle it seems.  I really think it because of those out there who has abused ebay with scams and dishonesty that are ruining it for everyone else.  It seems like ebay is trying to correct problems but the scammers get find new ways to get ahead.    Ebay is just too big.     

This is my favorite of yours so far.  GORGEOUS in every way.  I love the color the eyes...oh my what sweet teddy! :clap:  :clap:  :clap:

Well Terrie, you have 5" of gorgeous teddy bear in your hand.  Just adorable.  I love the long fur.  That must have been difficult making a bear that size with long fur. :clap:  :clap:  :clap:

Wow Julia, We don;t have any wild tigers in North America.  That would really be something to see.  I bet they are very heavily coated with fur up there.  Have you ever seen one?  Have there been any incidents of human attacks?   They are beautiful but so dangerous, aren't they.

I just named him Bali after the extinct species of tiger that used to inhabit the small Indonesian Island of Bali.  This species was declared extinct on Sept 27, 1937.

Hi.  Here's my newest tiger design...no name yet.  He stands on all fours with jointed limbs, head, and wired tail.  Back legs are wired too.

He measures 15" from nose to rump and an additional 10.5" for his tail.  He started out all white...hand sewn from Intercal alpaca, and he's airbrushed from head to toe to tail. :)

His eyes are glass, nose felted, whiskers are horse tail hair.I think he is my favorite tiger so far and now all he needs is a name.  I will most likely list him on ebay on the next few days.

When I use cotter pins I just try to use brut force to turn/curl down the ends to get a tight joint.  I use a cotter key wrench and if that isn't enough I use pliers to tighten them further.  ...or go and get hubby to tighten them .   One of these methods works beautifully.  I like my joints tight.

Paula, Kim, Peta your bears are stunning!  You know it all boils down to personal preference by a small number of judges....had there been different judges the outcome would be very different.   It must be extremely difficult for them.  I wish the magazines would dedicate and publish ALL of the entires!!!  After all the public and artists would love it  and I think it would increase the value of the magazine n....like a special collectors edition.........look at all the fees they collect they collect from this competition...so why not, right?
